Well, it can slow time down, or it can speed it up. 
Other members may think that it lets you travel through time, but that is 100% WRONG.
The real powers of the Kanohi Vahi (aka: Mask of time) is that it lets you slow down time in a certain area or speed up time in a certain area. In a sense, it does let you travel through time but not really.
