I've seen many topics around here that have turned into flame fests, so this should clear up a lot.

If the Kal were from protodermis, they would be Bohrok Nuva.

Gahlok Kal:magnetism
Tahnok Kal:electricity
Lehvak Kal:vacuum
Kohrak Kal:sonic (sound waves)
Nuhvok Kal:gravity
Pahrak Kal:plasma

They ARE NOT Bohrok Nuva.

They are not a marketing gimmic. They are to be tied in to the end of Bionicle with everything else.

They are not in MoL.

They used to be regular Bohrok, but the Bahrag's own energies mutated them from robots to living creatures.

Their mission is to free the Bahrag, not to kill the Toa Nuva.

The Bahrags mission is to return Mata-Nui to the before time.

The protodermis was made by the Toa's elemental powers in one beam, not the Bahrag.

They have nothing whatsoever to do with protodermis.

They don't even care about the Nuva, like Makuta, it seems that they don't treat them with respect. To the Kal and Bahrag, the Toa Nuva are mere obstacles.

Questions asked by me to gregf.

If a single beam of fire, water, ice, stone, earth, and air make protodermis which create Nuva, then does electricity, magnetism, gravity, sonic, plasma, and vacuum into one beam create a substance that makes Kal? If so, what is the substance?

As far as I know, the Kal powers don't create anything! The Bahrag's powers mutated them.

Good facts. I believe the Kal do control the va. That's why the TK got a new krana.

Now back to business. We all know that the Nuva were created from protodermis, but the Kal weren't, so I've taken the liberty to ask gregf what they were made from. And yes, now you can post theories about that until answered by gregf. No theories about anything else.

I can answer that - The Bahrag mutated them, and placed them into stasis, to be awoken in the event they were ever trapped.

As a joke in this forum elsewhere I said that they got high on lightstones like steroids. LOL

Is it possible that the substance could have been a creation of the bahrags altogether? It seems to have similar properties to protodermis {That it can increase ones power}, perhaps it has a similar elemental makeup.

Yup! That's what I was thinking, what is similiar to protodermis? Who knows? We don't know anything like that. We know how it is, but not what it is.
