I have seen that the Kraata can infect masks, and so I think that was the reason Rahi wore infected masks, it was by Kraata! And my theory is convencilbe because Greggy said that the Kraata was before and Turaga had catching it!

No i dont think the kratta were always around. but because they are part of makuta they can also infect mask the same way makuta can. and about those eyes...

I'm not saying that they did, but, hey, maybe it's a fortunate coincidence.

first of all, this should be in the kraata forum. and those eyes are a mystery to us, such as the protodermis bumps. wait those are simaler.I feel in the force that they are the same thing. it may be released to us later. wait for more simalarities to those and other mysteries.
