Why does everybody think Pohatu is chubby? He's slim and agile, and he has to be. After all, he is a mountain climber.

I personally don't think he's fat. Maybe he's wide at the hips because he need huge muscles to run fast, along with the kakama?
P.S. cool avatar, Calvin rules.

Yes, the inverted torso is what leads everyone to believe the Toa of Stone has eaten too many... ostrich-thing burgers.

He's certainly not slim, but I wouldn't say he's fat either. I say that he looks muscular.

For his feet, I would say that they are big-boned, because all-muscle aint' gonna do the trick.
As for his torso, it's to put more force into his kicks.

Pohatu is just as slim as the other toa. If pohatu's body hadn't needed to be turned upside down he would look exactly the same.

OK. I think he's look fat because of his body struktur. He can be as slim as the other Toa, just a bit slow(bur is doesn't matter, he get a Kakama).

I'm a massive Pohatu fan, but have never seen anyone call him fat...
The reason that his is "wide at the hips" is a direct of his design for kicking his Koli ball, no other reason.

I guess one of the Toa had to have some type of a "quirk" -- something sifferent than everyone else. Every Toa (Olda at least) had something that the other five didn't. Pohatu's...err...configuration is his "quirk".

I don't think he looks fat, rather, he looks bulky, with strong legs. He uses his legs a lot more than his arms, I would guess. He's a great runner, and attacks by kicking (either directly, or kicking something at his target).

I don't think he looks fat. If he looks fat then the rest of the Toa/Nuva have big shoulders.

I like Pohatu too, and I don't get it either. A whole lot of people think he is, for some weird reason. Maybe th upside-down torso makes him look potbellied to some. Yeesh.

It's just the way his torso is inverted to make his legs stronger. Slim as everyone else, just stronger in the legs.

Hey, Messenger of the Great Beings, this topic has been gone for over a month, and having not posted an alternate view from the rest of the topic I think that you post was totally un-needed

Yep, you did cut this close to the 30 day limit- maybe even go over. Been there, done that, gotten lectured. It's not a thing MODs want you to do. And I knew this was really old when I saw who started the topic to begin with.
