I think they are.The Nuva Symbols give them more limits than before.

DEFINATLY NOT! The Protodermis made them stronger, gave them armor, They just have stronger opponents, so it looks like they're weaker. If they were still the regular toa they'd be blown away.

No but the symbols don't limet their elemental powers.The Matoran just need to put a Guard arond them!

The toa nuva are only limited by the symbols (which we proably never hear of again after the bohrok kal saga). Aside from that let's see: stronger elemental powers, stronger weapons, new armor, stronger masks. Being weaker defeats the point of transforming.

I sort of agree. The armor and weapons, etc. are good-
but the symbols hinder them.

You know, somewhere on the bionicle.com message boards there is this hilarious thing about the Toa getting mad at Lego for putting their power in the symbols, and Tahu gets mad because he doesn't have fire power to burn the contract with. Anyway, the Nuva are much more powerful. >

I wouldn't say weaker but got two more weak spots, the symbols, and the differences.

They definetly became stronger. Well, they now got a weakness more and they lost their old masks, but their elemental powers increased greatly. And the Nuva masks are much stronger than the Kanohi Olda.

I think they're the same because even if the nuva are stronger take the nuva symbles and they're practicly powerless.

Okay, here's my idea(s):

• They are weaker because their powers have a "door" to go through. The symbol is removed, the lock is sprung and the power is lost.
  
• They are stronger with their weapons and armor.
  
• They have more powerful elemental powers.
  
• They lost all but one mask, which also extends its power to anyone nearby.
  
• They seem to have the same power because the enemies are stronger.
  

So in the long run, they are more powerful. Glad I got that out of my head...

I think they are stronger but with two limits. Their confidence( especially tahu nuva and kopaka nuva) and their symbols.

You've got ot keep in mind, when the Toa cam out of the protodermis they, had armour, better weapons, and more elemental power. However Lego needed a way to keep us interested, so how cna you do that?, by making the Toa lose their power...

They're not weaker! they're even more powerful!

Ok,Ok.I see.Mods close this.I just thought of this while looking atthe updates on Bionicle.com .oh yeah a closing statement,they do guard the Suvas but the Kal got past them.

The Toa Nuva are at a disadvantage due to their symbols, but they are also a lot stronger than their previous "forms". They recieved new armor, stronger weapons and Kanohi. They also gained more control over their elements.

So yes, they are at a slight disadvantage due to the whole symbol things, but they are definitely not weaker than the Toa.

They are extremly more Powerful. But, with great power, comes great responsibility. The Toa must protect their powers.
