I think the title explains itself. It is for Tahu and its orange, that is the color Vakama wears and the one Vakama wears is a Noble mask. So the Vahi has to be a Noble mask.

i think the fact that the vahi is orange makes sense since turaga vakama was the one who gave the vahi to tahu. however, since there is only one vahi, i dont think it can be classified as a noble mask.

On Bionicle Comic #3, the inside back cover explained 4 masks: The Vahi, the Gold Hau, the Infected Hau, and the Mask of Victory. Under Vahi, it said "The GREAT Mask of Time". The Vahi is not a Noble Mask.

i've seen on the kanohi packs they've shown by the vahi head picture it said there were 72 masks of vahi meaning all colors both toa & turaga.but i think vahi is taka nuva's mask befor the protodermis .(or taka's turaga's mask?)

Er, if there were 72 different colered Vahi, then not even 25% (or a quarter) of valid Mask wearers have been revealed. 72 is the number of Masks (great and Noble) that the Toa wear. Include the Nuva's and you have 109 masks. Woah!
