ok well we dont excecly know from what the bohrok kal transformed so hare's my theorie i think the bohrok kal where transformed by protodermis couse the toa's by combining their elemantel power's made protodermis and the bahrag have the same power's like the toa's so i think that the bahrag combined all their power's onto one beem on 6 bohrok's and made liqed(sp) protodermis just stronger couse they are two and the 6 bohroks dived in and the became bohrok kal what do you think?

Actually, GregF has confirmed countless times that the kal were not transforme by protodermis. As for me, I think that it may be cleared up in a future book, book 2 supposedly deals with mata-nui's past.

No, the bohrok-kal were regular bohrok mutated by the bahrag, GregF. said so. And if they were changed by protodermis, they would be bohrok nuva.

I don't think that everything that goes into proto should be nuva. the toa were only called that because it sounds like new-va and they were new. anyway back to the topic I seriously doubt that the bohrok kal were changed by proto because Greg F has already dismissed the idea.

I agree, GregF told us that the Bahrag altered the Kal long before, in case the Toa would ever imprison them. The Protodermis did not make the Kal special above regualr Bohrok. I hope this answers your questions.
