You know how when Kratta are exposed to protodermis they turn into a Rahkshi? Well in the trailer when the Kratta are in the vials, maybe that's protodermis!

I think that would be right apart from the fact that Protodermis is silver. Good theory though

Could be, Except the proto the kraata is in is green but then again it is in the movie and they have already changed enough.
