Takanuva has been revealed and the Toa of Light's background has been released...but the certain words stand out the most of to us Bionicle fans are...

The voiceover describes Takanuva as the undisputed leader of the Toa. It will be interesting to see how the other Toa accept him as their boss, which probably plays no small part in the upcoming movie and comics.

What will this do to the storyline? How will this change the relationship between Toa and how will they look towards him. But the one that stands out to me the most is poor old Tahu Nuva who in the simpliest words is getting replaced...please post your ideas on how you think things will be and any theories you have to mention about this topic...

Well, I believe there will be a big conflit between Tahu Nuva & Takanuva, to see who will be the leader.

well since tahu has a crush on gali, when takanuva and tahunuva get into a fight over who the real leader is, takanuva will probobly like gali and make tahu jealous so they will get into a big rumble

Where did you hear that Tahu had a crush on Gali? Tahu is the "unofficial leader" in my view so I don't think there will be anything really.

There is no one who likes Gali. And I highly doubt any Toa ever will. I think there is already another topic on this.

well i think that tahu know's takanuva's strange(sp?) and courge that e know's not to be in his way and i dont think that tahu has ever been the leader of the toa's

If the ToL sticks around, then we might have something to worry about. The Nuva are going to be concentrating on the Rahkshi now. Takanuva deals with Makuta. They're too occupied to fight over leadership.

I never accepted that Tahu was the leader, and personally I don't like the ToL being one, but if they must have a leader, I suppose that he makes the best candidate.

Tahu Nuva was never the leader, the only leader they've had and will ever have is Takanuva.

And I don't think Tahu has a crush on Gali, and Gali doesn't have one on any of the Toa.

Well I think Takanuva will be just like Tahu, Tahu will command sometimes and Takanuva will command sometimes that's what I think

I just asked GregF about this... I'll let you know if he answers that.

My hunch is that Tahu's first reaction to Takanuva will be relief, that the Toa are getting a new and powerful ally, and then a bit of resentment over losing his unspoken position of leadership. But I'm sure he'll take it graciously after a little thought.

Gali doesn't belong to anyone but herself, but it'll be interesting to see how the group dynamics change...

I agree, although Tahu does sometimes act like the leader, that is generally when the group is in serious trouble. Gali and Tahu, in fact, have some resentments toward eachother; Tahu managed to set off the break-up in comic 9. Not to say that Gali hates Tahu, she works with whoever needs help. Note that in realitly, we have not seen her working with Tahu much.

Apparently from what GregF has said, the relationships between Gali and Tahu (not a romantic one, just the work one) is revealed in the next comic as Gali is angry at Tahu for splitting up the group before the arrival of the Kal.

The role of Leader will probably be a big part of Mask of Light, as Tahu tries to take into account that he is going to be ordered about by Takanuva, who has only just appeared on the scene.

Heh, heh. Everybody hates Gali. Lol. Tahu Nuva stays leader, as Takanuva isn't that egotistic. Tahu Nuva stays leader, as Takanuva accepts what has always been done right. Takanuva just has a bigger area to defend, that doesn't mean he is the most powerful nor he is the leader.

Master of the Cube, Tahu Nuva did not break them up, it was actually Pohatu's idea, and Tahu Nuva suspected that he had a point. Takanuva is not the leader! If he was, I'd be mad, very MAD!

hey! wait a minute! i thought it was Kopaka's idea to split them up. i remember him saying something about that. ofcourse it could just be my mind playing tricks on me agian! and i dont mind Takanuva bieng the leader aslong as nothing bad happends to Tahu. ps:oh and lets NOT get into another who loves Gali topic. GG is right the only person she belongs to is herself.

That is very intresting, very intresting indeed.

My idea is that tahu and takanuva will not have a debate over who is the leader untill after makuta is away again and the rahkshi are gone.
I think tahu will accept takanuva to be the leader peacefully, Because takanuva will show his great power when he is battleing makuta...on his own.
