see i look at the images BZP has provided for us and well the hole Takanuva falls through is shaped like Mata Nui. perhaps Takanuva was still in this "paradise" in which the other Toa descended from and onto Mata Nui. this is why greg would'nt say. for this purpose we just witnessed here. i think Makuta returned and invaded the paradise with the Rahkshi and Takanuva tried to ward them off until the 6 Rahkshi sent him through the floor and onto Mata Nui.
this theory is not about Takanuva. but rather where he was. so i didn't post it in Kaiapu's topic

Only problem is, the CD probably has nothing to do with the Storyline. I mean, the Toa, Bohrok, and Bohrok-Kal's have nothing to do with it, so why should they all of a sudden make one that does? However, if the CDs do have anything to do wthe storyline, which I doubt, this would probably be pretty close.

yeah i know. but think about it. where in Mata Nui have we seen a huge castle interior? not even the underground areas of Mata nui are THAT tall. it just has to be the paradise

Either that, or another island... also, in the Kal Movies, a lot of those things they show don't really exist, so this might be something just made up, as well. No offense, of course...

FH is right. Alot of things in the videos don't exist. Kini-Nui still has all of it's towers. Korhrak Kal didn't really knock it down. And he doesn't fall through a hole. It is just something he is standing on begins to light up. If that was Paradise, why would the Rahkshi be there??

What I think is that big black pillar place is makutas lair. Even though they streched the facts of bionicle a little bit ( like korahk kal destroying kini nui ) but I am taking every little fact that I see in that vido and am using it for this theroy:
Takanuva went down to defeat makuta long before the toa even landed, takanuva became lost though, after the toa landed and we speed up the clock all the way to the end of the kal, takanuva was ambushed by the rahkshi and fell through that whole and lost his mask and now it has been found and there is the search and you know the rest.

Makuta found his way into paradise with the Rahkshi and attacked. Takanuva tried to stop them there and such. they smashed their staffs in the ground and broke it away causing takanuva to fall into Mata Nui. he made the bad guys go to mata nui as he fell though

Seeing as how the Rahkshi are a recent creation, this whole "years ago they invaded Paradise" thing doesn't cut it with me.
And as for the underground things not being that big... how do you know?
Mata Nui is one deep island. A lot goes on underground.

I tend to agree with Lord Lupus, just because there are only a
certain number of tunnels that we have seen it doesn't mean that
there are only that amount, we don't know the geography of
underground Mata-Nui, it may go thousands of miles underground
it may go millions of miles underground, we don't know. Greg had
also said that 'underground is way more interesting than aboveground,
as things turn out...'.

... And who's to say that their underground is limited by what overground we see?
IE where sea and land meet above, may not provide a barrier below.

It's probably UNDERGROUND in Makuta's lair, and the Rahkshi attack him. He is captured, his mask taken, and etc.

hmmm i thought mata nui floated along the sea freely. Makuta's lair was not that big nor did it have collumns and arches. the only huge room i could recall was the bohrok nest

As Bisc and Toa said, GregF did say that the underground has a great significance in the Bionicle Storyline.
And, in the old Toa CDs, Mata Nui sank beneath the surface of the Island after Makuta put him to sleep, so the my guess is that the major battles in the storyline will keep taking place deeper and deeper underground until finally, they reach the place where Mata Nui is sleeping.
