TakaNuva Vahi Master
Sorry, Greg F has already confirmed, TakaNuva is an Olda. Like the regular Toa. He has to look different because he protects the whole island. skk.gif vahi.gif smile_tol.gif

He may look Nuva, but he was never exposed to proto. So he can't be nuva. And about his name, the toa decided to call them self Nuva, Tahu Nuva. It';s kind of like a last name. Now look at Taka. Takanuva. See the differance?

but wait. i know hes not nuva but. is he a shape changer? thats very possible.

Thing is, everythig is pre-destined, so perhaps Takanuva knew that in the future, there would be Toa Nuva, and made himself to look like them.

Or, seeing as how he came before, perhaps the Protodermis made the Toa Nuva look like him...

i say that why taka was a nuva is because when his canister landed it went into the protodermis and as his parts came out they've gon nuva. or he's some toa nuva 2.0,can he? also he's all one color(white)but his mask & armer(gold).not normal nuva color.

Takanuva is in nuva form because he is of a higher rank, he protects the whole island while the six toa only protect a portion of the island. I got this from Gregf. And Lord Lupus has a good point there to.

How do you tell the difference between Toa and Toa nuva:

Armour: He's got it
New tools: Don't know
Nuva Legs: He's got it
Color: He's got gold armour, but silver Tool

But I think from the "color" evidence that he's is not Nuva, Nuva is when you are changed by Protodermis, and since he has got GOLD armour he musn't have gone in protodermis, therfore:

HE IS NOT NUVA
