yes. If Makuta came in form of Tohunga, then Mata Nui can come in form of matoran, toa, rahi (well I don¡t think so), etc.

i think the spirit of mata-nui is a vortex of elaments just like his dark brother, the makuta.i also have this theory on how the toa came into existense:do you know in the verry,verry first issue of bionicle comics,we all saw kopaka putting himself together out of the pieces that came from his canister.but tell me,where did those pieces come from?i say that some how,the great beings took some of the elaments from mata-nui's vortex,put them into six different canisters and sent the cnisters down to the island of mata-nui,and that's how the toa came to be.

Sounds reasonable, but wouldn't you think the Toa Nuva would know they were at least the pieces of Mata Nui? Besides, I doubt that Mata Nui is a vortex, or to be more specific, a void. He's the embodiment of good, benelovence, and actual existance(after all, Makuta is supposedly nothing.).

Mata-Nui is mots likeyl something more calm like a cloud or mist.

Anyway, if Mata Nui ever wakes up, he'll probably be similar to whatever form Makuta takes, but a Good version.

If Makuta is a void, nothing, wouldn't the opposite be, 'a something'?

Makuta shows up as anything... Mata Nui would have the same thing and trust me.. by anything, I mean ANYTHING

That's a good theory I think he will be a Matoran because Makuta was a Matoran

i'd like to think that he is a god so his form would be as a spirit or like makuta that can chenge his form to whatever he want's

MN will hopefully wake up, according to Mr. Farshtey, but that might take a few years.in the mean time, it's basicaly futile to talk about his phys appearence.

If he's like his brother, he's probably a shapeshifter. If they show him in the comics or sell him as a set, I think he'll be a Turaga or a large Makuta-sized creature.

We havent seen what Makuta really looks like but I agree with the idea of mata-nui looking like him and if he didn't that would be very weird.

I don't think Mata-Nui has a fysical form,but rather a spirital one.
But Makuta took a fysical form to destroy the Toa.

Off topic:
Well if Mata-Nui does wake up peace shall reign throught the world and his eternal protection will keep them safe and no more reason for toa to exsist. Thats it. Bionicle Saga over. Do we really want that?

On Topic: Well since Makuta said he is the Spirit of destruction and element of the void Then Mata-Nui must be the Spirit of Life and element of light.

Mata will hopefully wake up at the end of the whole thing. Now, being a spirit like his brother, i'm guessing he can take any form he wants. He'll probably take a familiar form like toa or Matoran when he first awakens.

Well, maybe Takanuva is like, kind'ave Mata Nui. In Comic 12 Makuta says, "Keep my brother asleep!" Well TakaNuva and Mata Nui are both asleep so who knows!

It is possible that Mata Nui looks like Makuta in his more recent body, except the colors will vary: gold and silver, pure gold? pure silver? Befuddling, this topic is.

I don't know his form. He could be a shape-shifter like Makuta but I don't know.

I agree with LL. He would probubly come in a matoran form. Just good.
