I wonder what the toa are made of. Maybe solid Protodermis? No.....I got it! Since the Rahkshi are made of Makuta, Then the toa are probably part of Mata Nui! That would make them a good match for the Rahkshi. What do you think?

hmmm...since the toa are biomechanical, i would guess that some parts of them are carbon based and other parts are robot gears.

The Toa, like every being on the Island (barring Krana/-Kal, Kraata, indigenous plant life, and possibly Makuta and Mata Nui) are all made of solid Protodermis, hence its title as "stuff of life".

And here I thought they were all just made out of plastic. biggrin.gif I wouldn't doubt that the protodermis is what they are made of but it is some sort of metal if not protodermis. Besides that who knows? Maybe were back to the plastic again.

that makes sense, rahkshi-makuta
toa- Mata Nui
Exo-Toa of Plastic

I'm not 100% convinced the Toa are biomechanical. Onua described the Bohrok as "artificial life. Biomechanical creations." (emphasis mine) This would seem to indicate (to me, anyway) a distinction between the Bohrok and everything else on Mata Nui, and that the Toa, Turaga, Matoran & Rahi are not biomechanical.

i think that the toa are a kind of synthetic metalic alloy
not metal or protodermis
but for some reason i think that protodermis runs through their body like blood or something?

No, I think oil is their "blood". And I think the Toa are made out of metal. Also, I think that Kanohi are made out of metal. Not only that, I also think that Krana/Krana-kal and Kraata are just guts.
