If the bohrok kal didn't steal the toa nuva's symbols, do you think they would have won(the toa nuva)?

Possibly. They would have had all powers to use agaist the Kal. Probably would have been close.

Easily. Because there powers counteract the Bohrok Kals. Lewa could easily blow them away. Tahu could melt them all. Onua could make the earth swallow them up. Pohatu could....kick stones at them. Gali could wash them away. And Kopaka could freeze them all.

For the sake of the storyline, the TN would win (good always wins, yeah right). But if it were in real life, the BK would probably win. Their powers are so much better.

Am I misled, or was the sole purpose of the Bohrok Kal to steal the symbols of the Toa and to slow them? I didnt think they had powers, so my opinion is that the Toa Nuva would easily have blown them away if the Kal had not gone in the back door and crippled them by stealing the symbols.

Yes their powers contradict,BUT the Bohrok-Kal's are stronger

Plasma melts stone.
Electricity paralizes Tahu sohe can't use fire.
Magnetism magnetizes Gali so she can't attack.
Gravity makes everything heavy so Onua is to weak to lift anything.
Vacuum makes Lewa choke.
Sonics break everything,even icebergs.

Well if they had their powers they wouldn't be running and hiding from the Kal. But the Kal might take them seriously if they had their powers (meaning Nuhvok-Kal would gravitize them straight into the ground and Kohrak-Kal and Levahk-Kal would blast them to the walls)

If the kal had not stolen the symbols the mission would have been a failure and they would be toast.

in the end, the only powers that could defeat the kal were their own.

...and that, from comic 12, is the answer to your quetion.the kal had stronger powers, but in the end couldn't master them, thus bringing thir defeat.
