I just can't think up an answer, they're slugs I know, or are they really?
Maybe someone with a Kraata can help me answer.

yes,the kraata can walk because they are living creatures, the krana are not living things so they cant walk without help.hope that helps

"Walk" implies legs of some sort. Webster defines it as, "
2a to move along on foot : advance by steps"
So unless there are some sort of microscopic legs on these little wormies, then I'd have to say, "no."
But if you mean are they able to move about under their own power, then my opinion would be a resounding, "yes."
And being that they move about like slugs, one can only hope that they also squish underfoot like slugs.

shouldnt this be in krana and kratta?
ontopic:i would have to say no/yes because i have a feeling you mean "move along on their own energy"
and no because technicly they crawl

As you can see here , it has little "feet",or whatever you want to call it.
That's how they (slowly) get to another place.

They arent like the Krana, they do have their own leg things. Sorta like a centipede or something, only more slug-like O_o...

Maybe not walk, unless those are legs that we see, but they are living creatures and can move about on their own power, unlike the Krana.

Kraata can't walk, they slither.

They can move around, and possibly jump (to leap onto the masks they wish to infect).

May 24 2003, 05:34 PM
Probily they can move. Slither, or jump, maybe even fly.

But, yes, their resemblance to slugs makes you think they can crawl.

The Krana are alive but they can't move. The Kraata, I think, move like slugs. Salt anyone? Wait, there is no salt on Mata-Nui.

Let's see. I'll look up if leeches move. Leeches are the closest real species to the Kraata. They are slug-like parasites, too.

The Krana are alive, just not intelligent. Though they live, they rely on a central intellect of the queen, or now queens. Shoudn't this be in the Krana/Kraata section?
MakutaToa
May 24 2003, 07:43 PM
Bugs relying on a central intelligence is a true fact!

The krana are alive! Go read comic 5. They can move on their own, just very slowly, but one did in "After the Storm". Anyways, the kraata may actually be able to walk in the movie, there legs are quite a bit longer in it. But it would still probably be more similar to crawling than walking.

I don't know very much at all about the Kraata or Krana, just that the Kraata come from Makuta himself! (Bink said Makuta pulls them from his chest, but that is way too disgusting and can NOT be right, I hope)

Well, it was from GregF, so I would be pretty scared if he was wrong! Anyways, I believe that they may be generated in the kraata holders in the set. Oh, and please don't triple post.

given the rakshi's almost xenomorphic appearance I for one think the kraata move like facehuggers, they stealthily skitter about until they see their prey then they strike and latch onto them
