First, I didn't notice an official Topic on the Ussanui (at least I should have smile.gif) so if there is, please redirect me...

Second, people have theories that Takanuva is Takua... but this is about the Ussanui... it's not Pewku (I LIKE THAT NAME! It's just like... CHEE!) reasons:

1) It holds Kraata
2) from Lord Lupus, it's just a 'dead horse'... he's close, it's just 'dead'. Or not even living.

my theory: it's made from the Bohrok Kal.

why? LOTS O' SILVER! and the Kohrak Kal handshields give it away... wink.gif

what do ya think? skk.gif
Papa Vinc
Your reasons are very good, Mr.Wert. Let me add some more. But before that, I LOVE PEWKU!! hmmm...Should I change my name to Pewku?...Anyhow, back to the topic.

1). It could be made from only protodermic units.
2). Let me tell you of all the pieces in it:
a: Silver Hau x1
b: Kohrak-Kal shields x2
c: Lewa's Katanas x3
d: Rahkshi backs x5
e: Pohatu's claws x2
3). The Toa Nuva could have sort of 'donated' thier items and other stuff.

Well, that's about all the info I have.

Facts from GregF:
Takanuva designed it, and the Toa buiilt it for him
Run buy the power of kraata
Built from Rahkshi pieces
Those are some more facts.

Charon
Teknui(kuta) you are right, there are 4 air katana, 2 kodan claws, 2 korahk kal handsheilds, a gray hau olda, 6 Rahkshi Bodies, that is because it has places for 6 kraata, and none of those "Weapons" are the toas, they were all made from solid protodermis
therahk
I think your all sorta right, it was probably designed by Takanuva, made by toa from scrach parts and protodermis, but I'm not sure. happy.gif
Alec
Here are some more.
The ussanui has only 3 air katana's.
2 kodan claws
2 korahk kal handshid's
1 gray hau olda
1 silver gahlok olda handshild
and 5 silver rahkshi back parts.
And by the storyline it is built out of rahkshi parts.
Dragon Zaita
all i really know about the ussanui other than what you've said is that it's some type of vehicle.

and 5 silver rahkshi back parts.

SIX silver Rahkshi backs.
I don't really think it's made from 'Rok-Kal, GregF has said it's built out of Rahkshi, plus the Kal don't exist anymore.
The_Conformist
Ummm... Thats pretty off topic, don'tcha think?

Anyways, The walkthrough is in the software section. It's a pinned topic.

And on topic:

There IS an official topic, I believe.

Also, the ussanni, as far as I can tell, does not need energy, but with the Kraata, it can "home" in on Makuta.
Apera
i heard it was made from rahkshi parts...but remember, the KK body was completely destroyed, both in the comic and update.
HUKI365
Another rumor I heard, possibly form GregF:
It seeks Makuta when it has Kraata in it

(Sorry if I'm rumormongering)
Icy_Visionary
I remember someone saying that it was made of protodermis and the toa built it for takanuva. I also heard that when kratta are put in it, it can lead it to makuta as the kratta is essence of makuta
Trigger
HUKI365 you are not rumergoing in the offitial GregF topic he said that if it has a kraata in it it seeks Makuta. so you are right.

It was built from the peices of rahkshi, and the power source is from kraata, the kraata don't control it.

when I say Kal pieces, I mean the Kohrak Kal handshields, maybe a few Bohrok pieces, ya know? And like many said, Rahkshi pieces... but the Ussanui IS not alive... Kraata are just returning back to Makuta, and thus bring Takanuva TO him wink.gif skk.gif
bionicle_fan73
This is what I know about it:
1:Takanuva instructed the toa to make it.
2:It is made of fallen rahkshi and borohk parts.
3:It is not alive, just a machine.
4:When a kraata is put in it, it homes in on Makuta's lair.
5:Other than that, it does not move.
6:It can fly, or move like a bobsled.
7:It is also made of solid protodermis.

Kopeke the Chronicler
So its made from fallen Rahkshi? That means the Turaga possibly knew about the Rahkshi before the Toa's arrival on Mata Nui!
Mastah Chief
Wait, rahkshi die?
-Platinum-
there's nothing special, it was made by the toa who were instructed by Takanuva. The parts are carved from proto and the handshields and nuva weapons do not have the same use as in other sets.

The creators simply look at the design and look for parts that look similar.

My only question is that... if they all live in primitive villages with hardly any technology (except for that elevator in Onu-Koro), how can they make this hovercraft?! Even though they can build it, I just don't see where they got the hover technology that WE don't even have... x_x

P.S. I love it though, but it just leaves a big "?" in terms of Mata Nuian technology...
Swert
*thought this topic died*

anyway, believe it or not, but I have seen pics and there are bohrok pieces... and 3 Katanas...

Trust me, it's possibly made out of Bohrok Kal pieces... skk.gif

I asked GregF about what the Ussanui comprised of, and although I've deleted the PM, the info amounts to "The storyline writers tell me it's made from fallen Bohrok-Kal and Rahkshi parts".

... And I don't remember calling it a dead horse. unsure.gif

that proves my theory... the Ussanui is made from the Bohrok Kal AND the Rahkshi...

and you -did- call it a dead horse once wink.gif skk.gif

Takanuva knows how to make it.

Takanuva knows how to make it because he needs to know how.

That means the Turaga possibly knew about the Rahkshi before the Toa's arrival on Mata Nui!

Of course. They've always known. Just as they've always known about the kraata, they knew about the fact that kraata turn into Rahkshi when exposed to protodermis. That's one of the reasons they catch kraata: to keep them the heck away from protodermis.

-Master of the Rahkshi
Charon
takanuva gave the toa nuva explicit instructions on how to build the ussanui and it is all protodermis, the mask is just an irnament on the vehicle, and es it is a mask in the set but in the comics it will be only an ornament so the ussanui is not living never has been and never will be for it is made out of solid protodermis and rahkshi parts
Makuta Master
It was revived, Swert...
