Hello, everyone. You remember how Jala and Maku's names were changed because they were Maori words? Well, I am changing the names of all the Maori Bionicle names.

EDIT:Due to this topic turning into a flame war, I'm telling you now that I don't want this to happen to all the Bionicle names. This is merely an expierement.

Ummm my question is... Why? Why change names that will be most likely not changed.

EDIT: Ok I see your above post but it still doesn't make much sense to me. BTW: some people might flame because they might not like your "new" names. I just hope YOU know what your doing.(I sorry if that seems mean but I'm just saying some people might say stuff like "Oh that sounds just stupid why did you do that.")

I never said Lego had to change the names, and I have no intention for them to be changed, this is just a funky little project I came up with.

Are you sure that ALL of those words are Maori in origin?

And when it comes to the words, you have to try and keep them sounding at least similar.

For example...Pakari could be "Pahkari"
Or Kakama would become "Kahkamah"

If you add to many letters...you change the pronounciation of the word to drastically.

You did a good job with the name changing in pronounciation but I like the names the way they are. Lego has no lawsuits on those names so they are fine

Nice idea. However, they could not change the Toa's names or the masks. Still, nice to see what they would look like!

I'm sorry but I dont think you have done this very well. Its a good idea though but simply hasnt worked.

If I remember correctly Tohunga (That spelling) means "Important Man" in Maori.
Let's say the new Zealand section of a history book told me.

the new names look prety kool,but i dont think i could memerize all those names,i mean im not even used to huki's new name,but those are still kool,try making some more

I have looked up every Bionicle name in my reference site, and apperently, I have finished my work, brcause there are no more Maori names. The top post has been uptaded with the last 2.

GUYS! Why is everyone attacking him for just wrtiting wat he thinks other names might look like if they were changed. Its just his opinion. Its not like hes saying "hey, everyone, these are the new names" no. he's just writing what he thinks lego might have changed them to.

I'd rather name changes didn't happen at all, let alone more. But I think if they had to those would be the best spellings. Good job.
