Since the toa are mechanical what powers them? Do they have a secret battery compartment or what? Please post what you think!!! (will a Mod please close my other topic in the general discussion forums if not already done)

I really don't know if they would need a "power source" or not. My guess would be that they don't. Well that's all I can think of.

Well we have proof that there not robots i think but i don't i reckon the only reason they look like that is because
(1) Lego didn't want them to look like humans so kids don't get attached to them so if in the storyline their favoroite character got hurt they would go batso rama about it

(2) and this one i 'm thinking about

I would have to say they are fueled by something. They can eat, so they have to be something like us, and we need something to move... I don't know about Batterys, but I think they have blood or something... just their skin is so hard you never see any. (Because it's not an overly violent comic... luckily)

Well, the Toa really don't need a power source (unless they draw on the energy of Mata-Nui or the great beings or something). Because they are alive, and I think they eat and stuff, so they are like humans, they don't a power source. -vs-

Well, when we say they're Biomechanical, it depends on how Biomechanical.
Humans are biomechanical, and what is our power source? Food. The stomach and intestines converts it into fuel we can use, and our heart delivers the fuel to the body.

I imagine the Toa aren't too different, even if they're more mechanical than biological - They'd just have a mechanical system.

You can pretty much rule out a nuclear-esque internal power source, because then they wouldn't have to rest or eat.

*Note - I don't mean our digestive system converts food into blood, I count blood as the delivery system.
To use another analogy, the heart is the dispatch centre, it gets a call from the brain telling it to deliver 1,000,000 energised Kanohi Pakari to the arm, because it's about to throw something. The heart pumps out the blood carrying the Kanohi, it reaches the arm, unloads its stock, and the arm gets what it needs.
Now, Biology probably wasn't my best science subject, and I may have it slightly wrong, but for all intents and purposes, it'll do.*

That is werid but the power is withen them like Kopaka said the power is withen them and I don't think I have a answer... Wait the masks they give power and i'm stumped.
