I think the toa got their names from food.......
I went to eat some malay food i saw this tahu telor(maybe misspell)

ya and the miru is milk in japenise(sp) well i dont think so they just got thier name's from the great being's or something like that

In Maori, Tahu means burn(got that from a website somewhere in this forum), and Israel Rahkshi, Miru isn't milk in Japanese. It's miruku or gyunyu. I think the Toa got their names from Maori elemental things, not food. Probably your food thing was cooked something, makuta kaita.
