Sotu Toa of Void

In MNOLG, many times it says Takua is an outcast. For example:

What did Takua do wrong? I don't have a clue, or even a theory.
P.S. This may be rather old, But as you can see from my status Tohunga, I only joined in the last month or two.

easy,99.9 % of matoran dont' like to travel around. takua does. that's why. he's different from the crowd he does different stuff that normal matoran don't. so basically that .1% is about takua.

Great idea, Dragon Zaita!

I still don't want to close the topic yet, though. Other people may have other theories, but I like yours.

Another theory would be since Takua doesn't exactly look like all of the other Ta-Korons he traveled for a very long period of time to see where he belonged and when he came back to Ta-koro they forgot about him.

I believe he did more than travel around. I think I've heard somewhere that he neglected his duty to travel, and as we all know, Duty is one of the chief values of the Matoran. I'm not 100% sure that I didn't see that in a fanfic, though, so don't take TOO much stock in it. But it seems to fit.

But everyone must remember his GOOD deeds... those might play an important role...
He returned the staffs to the Turaga, and summoned the Toa to Mata Nui... but he did like to travel around, so he was banished.

Do you mean that Vakama and the other Matoran kicked him out of the village?

Guys, Guys, Guys, It's not because he travels. It's because he strayed from his duties in Ta-Koro by traveling around. The traveling around isn't nessesarily bad. And to jala12, he's an outcast, one who's not liked among society, looked down upon, or shamed. Vakama and the Matoran kicking him out would be maxking him exiled.

He was distraught by the fact that the ta-koronans just did things to help their village takua wanted to help all mata-nui and to help his race

so brave

when the toa came he scribbled everything that happened down.He didn't do what ta-korans were supposedly meant for. When Takua returned from the bohroks awakening and must work as one village with the other koros to survive he became a hero I love happy endings

(I used the ziplip for tears)

takua is an outcast for many reasons.
1. he longs to travel and explore mata nui.
2. he does not do the chores he is assigned to in ta-koro
3. he is believed to bring bad luck to all other villagers
personally, i think thats just plain mean. but hey thats life for ya.

Maybe because he abandoned unity by leaving to travel solo, he forgot his duty - to stay in Ta-Koro, he travelled, which was feared by the Matoran, he had adventures - also feared, and he was believed to bring bad luck. His good deeds - finding the Turaga's staffs and masks, and collecting the Toa Stones and summoning the Toa - were done while travelling, and they're what made Vakama accept him in Ta-Koro again.

Perhaps what Takua did will be addressed in either the MoL or 2004 storyline.
Though I'm guessing it would involve something against hte Tohunga. Perhaps he is partially responsible for something that happened involving the Rahi.

I've always thought that it was Takua's wandering that made him an outcast. I think that none of the Turaga liked the fact that he strayed and helped other Koros because back then, they were still referred to as Tohunga and didn't accept eachother as all one people, thereby changing their title to Matoran.

Well he travles and does not stay in Ta-Koro. That is why he is an outcast.

GregF said the 2004 sets will happen in the past so maybe it will have something to do with what made him an outcast.

Takua left his village and wandered the island having adventures, which is not seen as "fit."
