Well I have a couple ideas for the next step in toa :

1- A darker look for the toa such as masks with spikes and larger more deadlier weapons.
2- A nui form the 7 toa

And finally my favroite 3- An ultra mode like super sayains in dbz or the super mode & hyper mode in g gundam
3.2- With super sayain abilities in mind the toa could have various levels of an ultra mode
3.3- Since super mode in g gundam is produced by anger and hyper mode by a serene state of mind there could be interesting twist in this ability because the toa get blinded by the power of a false ultra mode but later discover the true ultra mode reuniting them.

Next step in toa? no no no. Gregf has said that there are no plans for another upgrade in toa. But if there was...
I think the toa nuva would become the toa mastria! lol.
I cant think of a name but I say make the next toa big. A little bigger is all I say. And make them a little more costly...like $15.00 a toa. And they would all have the same powers except better.

I personally think that the Toa Nuva weren't a great idea in the first place. Remaking the heroes can be risky. The Toa Nuva did come out good though. I think making more Toa would just be a burden on the customers to buy more. What else could they really do with Toa?

I agree with twilite, I like the toa Nuva, and making another "form" of the heroes would be too much of a risk, and would probably end up bad. However, if they di make One, I'd want the toa to have lots of spikes on them, be a bit more intimidating, and sleeker (hmmm).

one more dose of protodermis would probably make the toa turn evil or weaken them

i hope they don't do anymore "upgrades". the toa will just be too powerful. there would be no point in having the good guys "invincible" all the time. good thought, but i seriously doubt it will ever happen again.

I think.....well you know how the six toa split into two groups of three then combine? well I think those two 'supertoa' combine with takanuva to combine one big grand guy

These Ideas have all been done to death. Except for the Kaita one. Lego will keep doing that because it's the Technic trademark thing.

I think the only things the Toa will upgrade, if anyting, is their Kanohi.

Well I think they should have a toa that consists of toa nuva,borahk kal and a few rakshi parts here and there. It would be called HUKA.
