Okay this is old news but I think that "before time" that the barag talked about was before Mata Nui came, when he came he put the Borahk into a sleep less power full then Makuta's on him then it picks up where the orignal Legand of Mata Nui starts.

Hmmmm, that's an interesting theory but I think they were talking about as the time when Mata Nui ruled and there were no toa or Makuta or huts. Just happy times without any danger.
