ok this is what might happen after makuta dies:
takanuva finds takua and he says there is a rare healing mask that is locked away to heal eveybody before they die and to also save a baby that one of the villageres will have.now this time he goes all over the island looking for the heal mask untill he finds a portal which he goes into and it ackedently sends him to the time where just rahi lived and where the mask never existed and the rahi that had way more power than takanuva and they have the portal to the corect time.

In regards to the theory, I doubt Lego would take such a radical change in the storyline from going to Six Heroes, One destiny, to One Hero, One Dilema. But this does fit in with GregF saying that it involves the past...

Yeah, what I understood sounded like it could be possible, then again THeres like a billion other thoeries that could happen and they are also good.

i think he is trying to say that takua tells takanuva about a mythical mask that can heal people before dying, so then he can save the baby that the matoran had(matoran do not have babies). when takanuva searches for the mask of healing he discovers a portal. he enters the portal and it sends him to the before time. takanauva realizes that the mask isnt there. the rahi in the before time are stronger then they are in the future, and they guard the portal that would lead takanuva back to the real time.

Couple problems with the theory,

• Matoran dont really have babies
  
• LEGO doesn't really make someone die, violence aren't their thing
  
• The storyline of 2004 will focuse more on the Turaga, and I dont think Bionicle would do portals.
  

Nice theory, but I dont think thats what would quite happen... I could always be wrong though...

It seems very far fetched to me. But i guess there's always a possibility.
