So... what do you guys think makuta's powers are? Every thing that exists in the world ? Or is it gust the powers of the Kahnohi, Karana, and the Kraata? Or mabie some thing else? Gust say what you think are makutas powers are?

Makuta's power is destruction, darkness and evil. He canstrike fear into a hero and use the kraata to infect masks!

Makuta has the power to spread darkness and fear throughout the land of Mata Nui. He can create Rahkshi, kraata, and he can shapeshift. It is also said in book 3 that Makuta has X-ray vision without using a mask. I don't have the exact quote, but I'll get it. BTW, I'm not sure if Makuta has all of the Rahkshi's power, let me look. *goes to personal GregF Q&A stash* After a couple minutes of looking, here it is:

Good question... he certainly has some of them, but it may be he does not use all of them.

Makuta also has the elemental powers. Remember how he attacked Tahu with an avalanche of sand in comic #3, and he used a whirlpool to try to drag Gali down in Comic #2 before Lewa yanked her out of the water by her hooks?

And as y'all have said, he can change his physical form and use his Kraahkan to inspire fear and anger in a foe. Add the Rahkshi powers to that, and he's a really terrifying enemy!

I personally think he's got a lot of the mask powers as well. As B#1 said, he has X-ray vision (that's official), and I think he can also create illusions, move things telekinetically, and become invisible (that's just my hunch).

Actually, he doesn't have elemental powers GG. He was just using what was on the island to attack the Toa.

Yeah, GaliGee, I think I asked GregF once if Makuta had the powers of the Toa, and he said no. But I guess he CAN control the island somewhat, although I think he discovered the Toa can alot better than he. So I guess he has the power to turn friends against each other, fill enemies with anger and fear, and also control Shaodws (like when he was shooting tha ball of energy at the screen in the end of the latest MoL clip).

Hmm... maybe Makuta doesn't have the 6 Toa elemental powers, then. But he clearly has a lot of control over the physical environment. I suppose he could have caused that sand avalanche using one of the Rahkshi powers (perhaps Guurahk's).

But if he doesn't have the elemental powers... how did he create the shadow Toa? They had the same powers as the Toa.

I would say, negative takanuva not plus.

He made them with their powers... not gave them to them.

Same thing as the Bohrok Kal, I'll bet.

Makuta has the powers of the rahkshi as the kraata are his essence! So he can poison things and fragment things and drain energy from things and......

I think i can think of one other! He can cast shadows in peoples hearts...
