In the extended trailer, Makuta says "must i release those that must never see the light of day". I was thinking maybe this means that makuta made them but he miscalculated and they were too strong for him to handle, and him saying this means "is the situation bad enough to make me release the uncontrollable ones?". wat do u think?

Yeah, Ibet they want to overthrow him, if they were that uncontrollable. Besides Makuta is a god. How can the creation of a god ever be stronger than the god himself I ask you? Besides, if the Rahkshi were strong enough to beat Makuta, the toa wouldn't stand a chance, and they wouldn't fufill their destiny.

Makuta understands the Rahkshi are his last ditch effort. He was hoping it wouldn't have to go as far as to release them (as he coud possibly be concerned about what they'll do)

The rahkshi CANNOT betray Makuta because they ARE Makuta. Am I the only one who remembers the fact that Rahkshi are basically enhanced Kraata? And what are Kraata, I ask? They are part of Makuta's very essence. They ARE Makuta. Would Makuta betray himself? Heck no.

Remember that the kraata gain skills in the rahkshi, so maybe , like the kal in comic 12, they would think they no longer need makuta to be strong. and about the reason they get their power from makuta, in reality the israelites got power from god to get through odds, but some told themselves it was their own doing and their heavenly father did nothing. that could be with rahkshi. they think their energy is in themselves and could think they dont need Makuta. That is why makuta may be reluctant to set them loose, for he knows this may happen.

Yeah, and besides, Makuta is still far stronger than the Rahkshi and he is nearly immortal. So even if they betrayed him, they would regret it.
