I'm pretty sure that most have noticed how every Bionicle saga has ended the same. The Toa always just pool their powers together in one all-powerful blast to destroy the master villain. Of course there's a little variety. The first time they pooled their powers together and blasted Makuta away, the second time they pooled them together to form a protodermic cage, the third time they pooled their powers together to flood the Kal's power levels and send it against them. The overall idea is pretty much the same.
So why does nothing different happen? Why can't they have something new like, for example, one single Toa taking a lonely stand or something? Post your comments.

Edit: In case there's been a certain misunderstanding, I'd like to make one thing clear. I'm not saying that I don't like the Bionicle storyline. I like it just fine. I'm just saying that it could get better...

So BR... oh nevermind, you won't tell us even if you know, or TLC may do something...
I think that Rich's right, because 2004 is mostly a flashback, and in the before time Makuta sleeps Mata Nui, and the Toa aren't there. So 2004 will be different.

I think making one Toa make a lonely stand would be fine to fans, as long as every Toa got his/her chance to do so. And even so, have you noticed how much more attention Tahu and Kopaka get than the other Toa? No one seems to mind. I personally am an Onua fan (sometimes I'm a Kopaka fan, depends what mood I'm in) and I'm fine with each Toa's individual fame status.

Mata-Nui waking up? Nah.... Doubt it.... Then the Toa would have no further reason to be on Mata-Nui (the island) and the saga would basically be over! Unless Lego pulled out some tricked-out storyline twist which brought along another major evil entity and the Toa got to stay and fight on! That would be great..... but.... not likely, unfortunately.
Oh, and back to the topic at hand, ya, it kinda looks that way. I mean, at least Lego is trying to put in some variety! Remember when the Toa Nuva were defeated by the Bohrok Kal? That's when Lego tried to incorporate some variety. But of course, good must always win because evil is.... well.... bad.

that mgiht work, but would't the enemy be like a godzilla , or do you mean that he/she can split it's body
it still a good idea
Tahu and Kopaka are rivals, Lego gives them a bit more attention to make their rivalry clearer, i think

Believe me, we have heard what you are saying... that is part of the reason we are making the radical changes we are for next year. Basically, we feel we have told what story we can tell in the setting of Mata Nui, and given as much background as we could. We felt it was time to start answering some of the questions we have posed in the last three years, and tell a story with more depth, more character development, and more complexity. So that is the plan for 2004-2005...
I can tell you that the product plans for the next couple years are all-new characters -- we are not going to do "Rahkshi Nuva" or "Bohrok-Kal-Kal" or something like that. New Matoran, new bad guys, new, new, new, as much as we possibly can. We're taking you to a new place, with new dangers, new challenges, and I think a somewhat darker feel to it.
Anyway, I think it will be worth your wait. I know I am probably more excited about the next couple years than I have been about any year of BIONICLE.
