yeah, Greg said Protodermis. Just because they look the same doesn't mean they are. there aren't an infinate different amount of designs for peices. And if it works, use it!

I think it makes them look good, anyway lets think about this, think about all the other 'arem-like' parts used in the past, they would be too big for the matoran and it would make them look stupid!

It's a valid theory, they had to use ruined Bohrok for something..but who knows, if Bohrok parts could fuse with Matoran, a demented one could implant many parts in him and damageend up causing heavy damage.

Who knows maybe they are they look just like em but that doesnt mean that they are there are tons of different thing that they could be from since they are in so many things

Nope. They are simply made of Solid Protodermis, and not Bohrok Arms. And Onua Nuva's arms are Bohrok Arms, but they are simply the result of the transformation through Protodermis.

Reality check... They're all plastic!
On topic: Everything on Mata Nui is made from protodermis, with the possible exeption of krana and Kraata. Saying that the Matoran't arms are made from protodermis and not bohrok parts means absoloutely nothing, since the bohrok were probably made from protodermis, too. And also, it said on that one Bionicle.com update that the new bodies were a gift from Mata Nui, so I don't think that they're bohrok arms.

You should really say which characters you are talking about . But, if you mean the Matoran, as others have said, GregF confirmed that they are made from solid Protodermis.

They could of used the bohrok arms as prostheic limbs, but people have been saying that they are made from solid protodermis!

i doubt that they would use prosthetic arms, but it would be funny...
