Nope, this has been discussed before. Takanuva is not Mati-Nui, or has the spirit of him really. Takanuva is just like any other Toa, only this one was a secret. Takanuva is not Mati-Nui, for if it was then he musti've woken up and thats the end of Bionicle.
No, no, no, no NO! Takanuva is not Mata Nui (not Mata-Nui ) . This theory was crushed awhile ago . *regains self-control* Still, it seems like the most likely idea, so no wonder you thought that .
h yeah, and there is an official Takanuva topic (link provided by Golden Krana) so this topic should be closed .
Good post Golden Krana. I agree with you 100%. But I woulden't mind seeing Mata-Nui alive and kick some Makuta underside

Nizzle this is what I think.
I believe after Mata-Nui was put to sleep he relized that the toa had no chance of beating him. Then to help his creations (the toa) he transformed himself into a lesser form with less power so he wouldn't tecnecly be Mata-Nui. And the only why he could become his spirit form again is for Makuta to be destroyed. So in his new awakened form Mata... or Taka searches for the toa to unite them and destroy his banished brother forever!

I agree with Golden Krana too. takanuva is not mata-nui. What if takanuva is his son?

Takanuva is not takua, gali or Mata-nui, if he was mata-nui the bionicle would be over as the toa have completed their mssion to wake mata-nui!
