Um, how do you figure? Tahnok is long since out of the storyline. I think they did that because it makes him look more...hm hm hmm...evil.

I think they are similiar because red and blue look good together.

Maybe it is because Tahnok was the supposed leader of the swarms. So, the head evil reflects his aspects in the leaders of his minions...

No, I doubt it, and anyway, as seen in the comics, the red head and blue eyes are put together to make Makuta's two-colored eyes (see comics 12 and 13) Good find, though.
