Mods,if this is in the wrong forum, please move it,if it is a dupe, close it!

I was just browsing the web, when I stumbled over a page with celtic signs.well, that's nothing special, but the celtic suntire sign looks really exactly like the Rahkshi sign. The one with a rahkshi hanging head down from somewhere, with the spikes in his back!So what does this mean, sun=light? Are they somehow more related to Takanuva?(more than the thing that they should hinder his revealing!)I will try to get a picture!

So please post your ideas comments, but no flaming and spamming please!

It means.....nothing. All it means is that once again, Lego has taken something from a culture and slightly altered it to fit Bionicle. It's just how the symbol for Gali nuva is a Greek Letter. Oh an BTW, The symbol of the Rahkshi is not a rahkshi hanging down. That is a Kraata. It is how they really look in the movie.

Maybe they borrowed the symbol but I don't think the meaning has anything to do with it. They are not likely related to Takanuva in that way but if the Toa are related to the Bohrok then why not!
The Eye of Makuta
The Rahkshi are the sons of Makuta so why would they be related to Takanuva? huh.gif

Quote from Makuta:
QUOTE
'I bore you, for I am nothing....'

If he bore the Toa then they are related to Makuta, who is related to the Rahkshi.

If Mata-Nui made the Toa then the Toa and Rahkshi are cousins, because Mata-Nui and Makuta are brothers.

Lego Bionicle is inspired by many cultures. I believe that there's nothing of significance in the correlation.
