Ang: The Malaysia Chronicler
Well, we all know the Toa's currect Destiny is to wake up Mata-Nui, right? But afters years, the storyline become more futher than that.

Here's my question:

1. How many destiny a person in Mata-Nui? One? Or more?

2. If there's a destiny only, what will happen when the person finished its destiny? How will we find out our destiny?

3.If there's two or more destinys, how we're going to know how many are they? Are the destinys are related together to help us reach our bigger destinys?

4. Do you think the storylines focus is going futher than 'saving the Mata-Nui' thing? When will we learn more about Mata-Nui? He's soooo mysterious.

Please answer. Hehehehe. tongue.gif

Well that's not easy to answer. Something on question number four though.
These are some things I asked Greg and the answers, they are long questions.

Gathered friends, listen again to our legend of the bionicle. In the time before the time the Great spirit descended from the heavens, carrying we the ones called the Matoran to this paradise. We were seperate and without purpose so the Great spirit illuminated us with the three virtues: Unity, Duty and Desteniny.

I doubt you are allowed to answer this but I'll give it a shot anyway. I believe you said that in 2004 we were going to learn more of were the Matoran came from. Now a voice (I presume Vakama's) sais these words. He sais that The Matoran were carried to the island by Mata-Nui. So is there a chance we will see Mata-Nui or learn a bit more about him?
(Yes I know I ask a lot about Mata-Nui)

Greg: You will learn a lot next year, but you probably will not see Mata Nui. You may learn more about him though.

Do you have any idea when we might get to see Mata-Nui?

Greg: Hmmmm.. can't really answer that one without giving too much away. Sorry.

And this is something to add for the discussion.

Hi Greg,

I have a small question and I wonder if you could answer it?

In the beginning of the movie they say that Mata-Nui illuminated the Matoran with the three virtues. So was their destiny made by Mata-Nui? If so didn't Mata-Nui knew what was going to happen to him and the island.

That's a good question, Tower. We don't know that Mata Nui is all-seeing and all-knowing, so we cannot be sure he foretold everything. You will learn all about how the Matoran got to Mata Nui (the island) next year, and maybe that will clear things up a little. Also remember that what you are hearing is the Matoran legend of how things happened, filtered through their belief system. It may or may not be the literal truth.

Basicly we will find out a few things next year about Mata-Nui.

Now about the other questions. I think Destiny can change, I mean when Makuta released the Bohrok early you can ask yourself, did the Destiny of the Toa changed then? Or was it also their destiny to defeat the Bohrok. There could be more Destiny's for one person. This is actually a good point to think about. Destiny is a big part of Bionicle and and it seems one of the most complicated things too.

I don't think the whole thing works the way you're imagining it- destiny is a more vague and ethereal thing than that.

As for question 4, yes, if Bionicle remains popular after Mata Nui is awakened, which it undoubtedly will.

Hope I helped! happy.gif
