-Takua the chronicler-
You know how GregF said the kahu was a younger gukko? But if you look at the back of the nui-jaga package,They combine into-THE GREAT KAHU!!!So, what does this mean?post here! biggrin.gif
Mr. Onua
They do? I didn't know that. Well, if they're the actual sets, it's a completely different set. Just like Makuta, Takua, Pewkuu, Jaller, and the Gukko bird (I think unsure.gif ) combine into the ash bear.

Great Kahu... Kahu Nui... Well, the Kahu is a young Pewku, that is for sure.

The Nui-Jaga forming the Great Kahu is not story-wise. They will not fuse into a Kahu in the storyline, you just need the pieces of the set to build Kahu, but toy-wise, never story-wise.

Inuyasha
I don't think he said that. But even if he did, it's just 'cause the sets have the right pieces. The Gukko and Pewku combinig into an evil Makuta-Nui doesn't make much sense, but it's 'cause they've got the right pieces.

They combine into Makuta Nui, which is not involved in the storyline wink.gif

Thanks for correcting me! laugh.gif Yeah I agree with the fact that it's just the pieces in the set and has nothing to do with the storyline.
-Takua the chronicler-
Sorry,What I mean is:

If gregF said the gukko was an old kahu,How come the nui-jaga can combine into it,not counting the fact that they probably just did it 'cause of the pecies.I'm not making any sense with myself! wacko.gif .Oh,and by the way,WHAT"S A MAKUTA NUI,AND WHEN IS HE GOING TO BE INVOLVED IN THE STORYLINE!?!!?!!?(achem) wub.gif comment!

(off topic:)wow,6 posts already, this is an okay topic!

(on topic:)The first time they showed takutanuva,it was actually Graalook The ash bear.
Mr. Onua
I don't think Makuta Nui is going to be in the storyline, it's just a toy.

I'm not sure what you're talking about. Don't worry, it's just probably me. laugh.gif unsure.gif

I think that the words make a whole big difference in what something is.. nui-jaga combines to make a great Kahu... which is a bird if i am not mistaken which possibley can turn into a Gukko. This is one of those Pokemon situations. Where something that doesnt' look nothing like the next stage progresses. That is what I think.

I don't recall ever saying a Kahu was a young Gukko.

What I have said is the following:
According to the BIONICLE Lexicon on BIONICLE.com, the bird was at one time referred to as a Guko-Kahu ... and in the movie script, the references to a Kewa bird were replaced with references to a Gukko.

Therefore, it only makes sense to assume that Gukko, Kahu, and Kewa are all the same creature. And since Gukko is what was used for the movie, I have to assume also that we are not using the kahu term anymore.

The way I percieved it is that the Goko-Kahu (aka "Gukko") is a different breed entirely fom the Kahu itself.
Even if not, why should we not use the Kahu term anymore? It's like forgetting that Takua ever existed (assuming what I've heard about the movie is true).
-Takua the chronicler-
Who's Takua? huh.gif .J/k tongue.gif I just realized something!Maybe the turaga let nui-jaga into le-koro after they combine! biggrin.gif Seriously,If you look on the back of a nui-jaga package, you'll see they combine into one.And if you still have both instruction booklets, you can make it. cool.gif cool.gif Bye!
