a matoran is an robotic thing but how many time does they live? and there eat what? and what is there reproduction system ? and if they die (destroye) what happented of the piece? and the die matoran?

Well, these are some of the mysteries of Bionicle, and nobody knows exactly what their answers are. We'll probably find out someday, but for now, all we can do is wait and theorize.
