    Official Description
Kopaka is cool, calculating and methodical in his actions.  His long ice blade cuts and melts ice; one skillful swipe can cause avalanches or instantly freeze anything it touches.  It is believed that Kopaka brings the winters, and the long cold nights...and it is known that his power strikes a balance against the fiery presence of Tahu.

Kopaka prefers to work alone.  He is the least communicative of the Toa, and will only join forces with the others if it's absolutely necessary for his own survival.

Kopaka is most at home skiing up and down the slopes of Mount Ihu with blazing speed and unmatched skill.

Kopaka is the first Toa introduced in the comic series, and receives information from Matoro, a villager of Ko-Koro.  Kopaka later saves Matoro from the jaws of the beast Muaka on the snowy side of Mt. Ihu.  In fact, the entire first comic is focused on Kopaka, and to a lesser extent his solitary attitude toward Kopaka.

Kopaka was the first to find the secret of the Krana, and how they would be necessary in their fight against the Bohrok swarms.

A loner at heart, Kopaka seeks solitude and joined the other Toa only reluctantly, after it became apparent he could not find the masks or save the island on his own.

Like the rest of the Toa, Kopaka is slated to be replaced by Kopaka Nuva (September 2002).

The original Toa are currently being discontinued and are generally being discounted until they sell.
