Zaktan's body is made up of millions of protodites and he has Laser Vision.
Zaktan is a Skakdi species and a native of the island of Zakaz. Before joining the Dark Hunters, Zaktan was a slave in a Protodermis mine. The Shadowed One freed him and hired him on as a Dark Hunter. Zaktan did not seem very grateful, however, for he once led a rebellion against the Shadowed One with the help of some other Skakdi. The rebellion failed and Zaktan was hit by the Shadowed One's disintegration vision, which ended up turning his body into millions of protodites.
While guarding a captured Brotherhood fortress during the Dark Hunter/Brotherhood of Makuta war, Zaktan discovered a secret chamber that detailed the Brotherhood's master plan.
After receiving an irresistible urge to find the Mask of Life while raiding Teridax's lair, Zaktan and the other Piraka journeyed to Voya Nui and enslaved its population using Zamor spheres filled with Antidermis. Zaktan was the leader of the Piraka.
After their defeat in the Chamber of Life, Zaktan and the other Piraka were mutated into strange eel-like creatures. They tried to ambush the Toa Mahri in the Cord, but were defeated by Axonn and were taken to Daxia for questioning.
Zaktan was then conscripted to aid the Toa Hagah in their search for Teridax. When they met their quarry, however, Zaktan was killed by a sonic attack from their foe. |
