They came to Voya Nui as Matoran villagers on a rescue mission. Then six bolts of lightning from the Red Star transformed them into the newest team of Toa -- the Toa Inika! Their goal is to find the powerful Mask of Life, the Ignika, and use it to save the life of the Great Spirit Mata Nui.
Hahli understands how vital the mission of the Toa Inika is, but has a hard time adjusting to the constant combat that makes up her new life. The evil and brutality of the Piraka shocks her, even as she wrestles with her own power and how much damave she could do if she ever lost control. She has also puzzled and concerned about her Kanohi mask, which seems to be trying to communicate with her using sudden jolts of pain. Hahli carries a laser harpoon which fires a mix of water and lightning.
Although the Inika successfully obtained the Ignika from Vezon and Kardas, the Mask escaped from them, causing it to sink to the waters around Mahri Nui. The Inika travel down a white-stoned passageway with hopes to retrieve the mask yet again. |
