When Jaller died and Takua transformed into Takanuva, Hahli mourned greatly for Jaller. She was the one who proposed putting his mask upon the Ussanui, as a symbol of leading one to victory and a new light. She even snuck aboard the Ussanui and when Takanuva down into Mangaia to act as his Chronicler. There, Takanuva sent her back to get the other Turaga and Toa and tell them to come. After the battle, with Takutanuva lifting the door, she ran by with Jaller's mask. She was stopped by Takutanuva, however, who gave up part of his life force to revive Jaller.
When the Turaga told the truth about their lives on Metru Nui, Hahli acted as Chronicler and recorded their stories. She then sailed to Metru Nui with all the other inhabitants of Mata Nui. When the Toa Nuva left to retrieve the Mask of Life and were defeated on Voya Nui, she joined Jaller's expedition to rescue them. After journeying through Karzahni's realm, she was given a new mask and was transformed into a Toa Inika. |
