    Toa Lhikan Debuts at Comic-Con
Hot Bionicle NewsFriday, July 23rd, 2004 at 1:35am by Mark, BZPower Reporter

    Exclusive BZP pictures

OK, so there is no exclusive disk at this year's Comic-Con in San Diego. But who needs a disk when we got the FIRST pictures of the HOTTEST set of the year, if not the entire history of Bionicle! Read on for some awesome pictures and details about Toa Lhikan and Kikanalo.

First the news about when this set comes out. It will first appear in Toys R Us sometime in October and then it will be for sale in Shop At Home. So there is no need to worry about your local TRU having or not having this set, everybody will have a chance to get one. The set will be $30, not bad for this awesome set.

Now, before you start to look at the pictures keep in mind these are PRELIMARY pictures. It may and probably will change a bit between now and the time it hits the stores. So if it does change, you know why.

The thing that really stands out about Toa Lhikan is the golden color. Everybody was expecting yellow, but the gold really does stand out and looks great. Here the mask is more of a flat gold than the rest of the parts but I have a feeling it will change to fit the rest of the parts but only time will tell. The red is the same dark red as found on Toa Vakama, the flash I had to use may make it look more of a bright red than it really is.

Next we have Kikanalo, this is really solid and sturdy built. Notice the Chroniclers Staffs as part of the mouth lets hope this stays the same as its a great way for people to get these staffs (and a great way for Lego to use the batch they made but never used).

I really have to say this is probably the coolest set in the entire Bionicle line. I do not think any set has been talked about more, guessed about more and begged for more than this set - and it really does live up to all the hype! I cant wait until October now can you?

More Comic-Con coverage over the weekend.Discuss This Story
