    Toa Hordika Vakama
Hot Bionicle NewsTuesday, November 23rd, 2004 at 8:43pm by Mark, BZPower Reporter

First up we have a picture of Vakama along side his can. We will talk more about the can itself in a future story.

Click on any picture below for a bigger picture

The next three pictures show a full body shot of Vakama from the front and rear shots of how the Rhotuka fits on in the back and how the rip cord fits in. Notice how when it is inserted it goes out the front of the chest. You pull on this and the Rhotuka goes flying away - far away if you do it correctly.

The next three pictures show a close-up of the legs and feet, the chest area and Vakama's weapon. The weapons are a mix of hard and soft plastic. The weapons are interesting, the two plastics are fused together and provide an almost seamless fit.

In true Bionicle fashion, one of the arms moves by doing a little twist. In the flash movie below you can see how the arm moves and where you turn it.

Next up we have the mask and the brain. As you can see, the mask is held on by a 3 long axle rod. This attaches to a 1x2 liftarm that has a ball socket attached to it. The Ball socket attaches to the body and in the bottom part of the liftarm the eyes attach and the top hole is where the axle rod that holds the mask on attaches.

We will bring you the next Toa Hordika tomorrow - and all these will be using the same talkback thread.Discuss This Story
