    2008 Sets Revealed!
Hot Bionicle NewsMonday, October 15th, 2007 at 6:48am by Andrew, BZPower News Manager
    [Source: Bioni-Cool Jack]

The time we've all been waiting for is here. The first wave of 2008 sets have been revealed, and BZPower is here to give you the details. Be warned, there are SPOILERS ahead, so if you don't want to know what's coming, you'd best not read on.

Before we go on, just a reminder that in the discussion of these sets, please be sure to use spoiler tags for the time being when discussing these sets.

German online store Kaleido.Shop has posted these sets and pictures, and they have been confirmed by Lego to be fair game. Thanks go to Bioni-Cool Jack for finding and reporting this news

'Canister' Sets: Since the Toa Mahri, what we normally call canister sets haven't actually been canister and this year looks no different. What is different is the apparent combination of three good guys and three bad guys (The Phantoka?) for this first wave, assumedly the summer sets will have a similar mix.

Small Sets: This is almost a misnomer these days, as the smaller sets seem to get bigger every year. These sets follow the same split between good guys and bad guys as the larger ones. In addition, the boxes of these sets resemble those of the larger ones, with some sort of plastic and cardboard packaging.

Finally, we have the one large set for the first part of 2008. Not much to say here set-wise, it seems fairly standard.

As you may have noticed, I didn't make any guesses as far as the story goes, we'll save that for all the Storyline & Theories gurus. Stay tuned for more 2008 news and information!
