Sweet New Bohrok Va

The Kabaya candy company occasionally does promotions in conjunction with the LEGO Company. More than a year ago, BZPower reported on the Kabaya Turaga series. A week ago we saw the Bohrok Va Kabaya sets for the first time on eBay. Iíve been able to get a hold of them, and I have for you a full review and a scan of the instructions to make the Va combiner model.
Kabaya is a Japanese candy company. Because of that, these Va come in boxes written in Japanese. Rather than the dull traditional Va boxes, these are shiny and sharp, looking almost like a gift box.

Kabaya makes 4 types of Va. 1431 Tahnok Va, 1432 Nuhvok Va, 1433 Gahlok Va, and 1434 Lehvak Va. All four sets come together to form the Va combiner model. Lucky you, I went out and spent the money to get these sets, so you can see the instructions here for the first time for free.

So, what comes in one of these sets? Well, Va, of course. The Kabaya Va are the same as the regular Va except for a sweet surprise. Candy! Since these were made for a candy company, the Va come with a small little bag of white star candy, made in Japan. Always liking to try new things, I decided to try the sweets. They taste like a cross between Sweet Tarts and Cream Savers.
Interestingly enough, these sets are made in Seoul, South Korea. This is the first time I have actually seen a set in my possession that was made in Asia.
So, where can you get these? Unfortunately, they canít be found at any retail location in the United States. A friend of mine, Matt Chiles, is selling these sets at his online store. You can fetch all 4 of them for one price, along with the old Turaga. These sets will cost you $29.00 while the set of 4 Turaga will be $25.50. Check out Mattís site at insidethevault.com.
