  1. I actually think a TV series would have been great and fitted in with the cartoons of the time. Imagine a series in the MNOG style! However, the timeline would have had to be way different, TLG would have had to have not sunk so much money into Galidor and other failed investments, and not done stuff like the movies. Definitely would have worked better format wise when we think of cartoons like ATLA, you can put a lot of character development in that a movie simply cannot. Also, as others had said, it couldn't be late in Bionicle's life either, it would have had to been part of the original marketing wave/pitch, otherwise it gets left in the dust as an afterthought.
  2. The reporter chick who always belittled her camera drone lol
  3. Finished Gris, now nearly finished with Mirrors Edge (Both have nice music but otherwise they are worlds apart lol)
  4. Sounds like a great haul! Hope to see a group photo when you're done with the (tiring) assembling!
  5. Bunderberg Gingerbeer mate Or a good ol' cuppa tea, Gumboot/English-Breakfast or Earl-Grey I'd say.
  6. GRIS or Deep Rock Galactic, cannot quite remember.
  7. Ah I see now, thanks for that. Congrats to Syobnaf for winning the plushies!
  8. Why is it listed as expired? Never seen that status before
  9. Scrunkly... The belly-buttons are the cherry on top lol
  10. I NEED IT!!! Edit: Great job on the plushies by the way Mushy!
  11. Aging fandom is my only suggestion. I collected stamps for a while (grandfather gave me his old collection) and that is an old hobby globally, but stamp values have been dropping for a while now, because even though an item is rare, the amount of people interested in buying stamps is decreasing. Plus, perception of the item has changed, a piece of paper and ink is not really wiz-bang compared to a piece of laminated paper that can be used in a trading card game, let alone an item in a digital game where you can actually use the item and flex on noobs or whatever. Idk, just spitting random stuff 😅 That being said, issues like an aging audience are a long way off and the fact that the product is now finite does compound things. I only started caring about collecting Bionicle around about 2016 and barely snuck in with getting some mid-tier collectibles before things kept getting higher. I think a shocker example is Lesovikk, I sort of was on the fence about getting that set but not now at the prices it goes for. I doubt people even like the set that much nor the character if they like lore, it will be the mask and blade they're after I'd say 😕
  12. Nyah~ Thank you so much! Someday I suppose...I remember there is over 50 in total.
  13. Is there a clear way to see how many people have already entered or what subject matter they chose? I'm wondered I may double up.
  14. Obviously having got into Bionicle after G1 ended, it's been hard getting sets let alone any cool goodies like masks, especially post-G2, but I'm at peace about not having it all. I think seeing Duckbricks, Eljay or however else has complete collections is cool enough in itself and I'm happy for them, as others have said there's plenty of meh sets in Bionicle's run so it doesn't hurt to miss some. I definitely wish I had the 2007 titans though, let alone GiTD pieces, pearl gold. Prety chuffed to have got about half the Kaukau colours and most of the gold and silver Mata Masks which I intend on building a Suva reminiscent display for. Most of me and my brother's collection is "parted out" for Mocs however and in some ways that goes toward things like Bio-Cup where there's the slim chance of obtaining a cool mask or promo item etc. I think Mocs are personally more fun for me as no one else "has" that Moc, it's cool seeing a part in a new way, such as a foot as a head so forth.
