I found out this morning that I'm not going to my dad's this weekend, which means that I can extend my personal deadline for Black Six to tonight!
I also finally posted my entry for bonesiii's Bohrok Kool contest this morning. Around three hours after posting it, I went back to check on it and saw that it had SIX comments. For me, that's a lot.
In other news, I just came back from my cousin Kay's sixth birthday party. There wasn't much for me to do except sing happy birthday and eat, but i
I just walked about 40 minutes (roughly two miles) to my grandmother's house carrying a pair of pants for her to fix, then rode a bike at her house back home.
The current temperature in my area is 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
If I measured in feet the amount of sidewalk between my house and my grandmother's, I would not get a three-digit result.
...
Now excuse me while I don't move for awhile.
Remember how I needed $25 more for the G1? I got it. This week has been very busy what with Orlando and such, and so I was the only person to remember this week's $20 contest. Being the only person with an entry, I took the $20 prize. The last $5 was gained by trading a $5 movie theater gift card to my mom. The only thing left is to go get the phone.
In other news, I saw Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen this evening, and I must say, it tops the first one by a mile. I have to go to bed now,
So, my mom is going to Orlando until Tuesday for an AVID conference (she's a teacher). Before she left, I grilled her about ways to make money. She gave me three possibilities:
-Clean Rosie's (the guinea pig's) cage: $5
-Prep the garage for cleaning: None, but clears the way for making money actually cleaning the garage when she gets back.
-Nitpick: $10 per hour.
Most of you are probably raising your eyebrows at the third option. No, my mother does not mean nagging, she means literally p
I hate missing school. This morning at around 1 a.m., I vomited. Then I vomited again at 4 a.m. I've had diarrhea and a headache for two days. My mother and grandmother convinced me to stay home. I e-mailed all of my teachers and my mom called the attendance line to let the school know I wasn't going to be there.
If I'm not better by tomorrow, I don't know what I'll do. I really do hate missing school. Plus, tomorrow (since it's an early release day), I was going to test-drive the route betwe

This morning, I had what might be referrred to as an unsettling experience. First, some background information:
As you know, my mom works as a teacher. Over winter break, the school secretary asked my mom to babysit her dogs. My mom accepted. We still have the dogs - they haven't been picked up yet. The dogs are chihuahuas, and there are six of them: Two adults and
It is uncommon that I use or talk about emoticons, but I felt it was worth saying that whoever invented the following image was genius:
It can be attached to any most emoticons. Observe:
EDIT:
Tomorrow I'm going tubing with Queen...apparently, it'll be a 3-hour ride to the river, so I'll be bringing my DS Lite, DSi, and Dante's Inferno. And possibly other things.
We got our Christmas tree earlier tonight. Somewhere between 7 and 8 feet tall, we found it on sale for just $45. I'll get photos up later if I can.

...what is possibly the largest non-prehistoric moth on the planet. This thing was massive. It had a four- or five-inch wingspan and was fluttering around my uncle's outside lamp when we dropped off my cousin at her house after VBS. I took some pictures of it with my DSi, I'll upload those as soon as I can borrow my sister's SD card.
Went to bed around midnight. Woke up at two in the morning. Went back to bed. Woke up again at ten in the morning. Went to church. Came home. Blogged.
So, that's my day so far. But yesterday was much more interesting.
You see, my mom is somewhat technologically impaired. That, coupled with a slight scatterbrain, has resulted in her being unable to properly use and keep track of a cell phone. Nine times out of ten, if you gave my mom a call on her cell phone, she wouldn't answer it. Sometim
Well, it's been quite some time since I posted an entry here. I plan to start blogging more often, and give my blog a theme. Anyway, here's a quick list of interesting things that have happened since I last blogged.
A parent-teacher conference was held at my school Thursday night. My mom went with me, and I got positive comments all around. My mom tried to enroll me in AP Chemistry, and found that (as I told her) I have to take Chemistry Honors first. My mom got sick on Monday. She hasn't work
Today I realized that I never blogged what this week's $20 contest theme was. This week's theme is unique in two ways. Firstly, it is broken up into two parts. The first part of the contest ended on Sunday, and the theme was to come up with ways to teach songs to kids. This contest stems from the fact that every night this week we are attending VBS, and my mom is teaching the music portion. For those who don't know, VBS stands for Vacation Bible School. It's for kids K-8 grade. Being in transiti
...could have been better, but it also could have been worse. It seemed to focus a bit overmuch on inter-character romantic relationships, but I suppose they needed something to fill the movie with. The fact is, this movie was basically just a transition between years five and seven - between Harry fighting Voldemort indirectly and him really becoming a serious player in the war.
That's my take on it, anyway.
I finally saw it.
There were only three parts I didn't like:
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «Mata Nui's "together...as one mind" line. Totally out of place. Tuma and his battle with Mata Nui. They got Tuma's character all wrong. There was a third to put here last night, but it ran away in Spanish class this morning.
I'm putting a temporary hold on the MOC depicted in the WIP photos below so I can cobble together an entry for Kylus' ORGANIZED Blog Contest #1, which entails building a Toa of Psionics. So far I haven't had any really brilliant ideas, but I have pulled out all of my pearl gold pieces (I know Kylus says we can use Keetorange, but I'll be darned if I'm taking the easy way out).
So, I've decided to begin the reactivation of my blog by simply posting entries again. So, today is Friday, June 26. Not too much is happening today. My brother left at 10 a.m. with a friend, he'll be there until 4 p.m. There are two things I'm really looking forward to today:
-The end of this week's contest.
- Playing Dicecapades.
I'll start with the first one. On Monday of this week, my mother announced that this week and each week of summer break hereafter, a contest would be held. The
Sorry to all that came here via the link from my Member Interview.
I know my blog isn't very exciting.
I'm thinking about picking it back up again.
If you agree (or disagree) that I should, go ahead and leave a comment in this entry.
First, did anyone else know that a new all-female element was created? Psionics, which for the unknowledgeable includes telekinesis, telepathy, mind control, and other mental powers.
Anyway, I immediately went to BS01 to investigate. Though I was disappointed to find the page set to the elemental page template, with very little extra information, the images of psionic mask powers made me notice something. Here is an image from the psionics page at BS01:

Now that I have my own laptop (and, by extension, any-time access to the Internet), I think I'm going to pick my blog back up again. I suppose the best place to start would be with the laptop itself. Yesterday around four-thirty, I headed over to Best Buy with my mom and sister. We were initially going to buy me a wireless mouse. It was an early Christmas gift from my dad. Normally he would have waited until I had something to use it with, but the mouse I wanted, usually $50, was on Black Friday
