Thursday night is when I'm leaving for Washington DC and the Jamboree. At that point there will be no way to contact me until after I arrive at the Jamboree on July 26th. I will also be gone from BZPower the entire time of this trip.

A couple of days ago there was a video on Yahoo's front page about a guy who built him self a tiny house, 8x12'. It looks somewhat cool. I'm thinking that might be something I'll do. Probably not that small though. It looked like his was built on a trailer. If I was to build one, it wouldn't be portable it would be permanent.

I finished my final merit badge last night. Now I'm just working on collecting references and the final signatures and then my Eagle Scout Application will be sent off to the local council. It feels good to finally be done with every thing.
The only bad news is that it sounds like the local eagle board is swamped, so there could be a long delay before I get to be boarded. I have to be boarded before the 13th of September or I won't be able to get an Eagle Palm.
I'm going to be heading up to my grandparents cabin for my family's annual 4th of July trip. Normally we would have already made a couple of trips up there, but because my siblings decided they had to do organized sports this summer that hasn't happened.
It should be a fun time. We'll probably go swimming almost every day. I also hope to make the trip to clean up the rest of the island geocaches I hven't found. I also want to take a trip to a nearby state park, which for some odd reason,

Truthfully, I think that we're a little bit more prepared then that. I think my patrol is pretty decent. The first few meals that we cooked went okay, clean up was the worst part, although by the last meal we got that worked out somewhat.

One month left until the Jamboree. I think I have pretty everything I need, except the centennial socks. For some reason there seems to be a huge shortage of them. I have enough right now that I'll probably be able to manage if I can't get any more, but I would like to have a few more.
The precamp is also this weekend. It should go well as long as I can get everything packed up.

Finished up Communications last night. Now all that's left is Family Life. That will be finished up as soon as my project is done. I'm staining the railings on the deck and it will probably take a couple weeks to get done. After that I'm done with everything.
Also, Pathfinding, I'm not sure if I'll get the other three historical merit badges. I know for a fact that I won't be getting signaler, I just don't have the time to learn the codes.
My family bought a new piano a little over a week ago. This one is a much needed acoustic piano, It will replace our eight year old electric Yamaha Clavinova.
The new piano is a Baldwin Upright. We got a pretty good deal on it, and even though it's about 15 years old it's in like new condition. It like it and it's a lot more fun to play then the electric piano we use to use. The only problem is it might be a little more difficult to record stuff.
The moniter for one of my family's computers died last night.
It happened sometime between when two of my brothers were using. My second youngest brother was having trouble getting it to work. My sister and I didn't want to help him, I wasn't feeling well and my sister didn't want to get off the other computer. My dad eventually went to look at and he couldn't get it to work so he restarted it and it still wouldn't work.

I seem to be mostly better now. No fever and I have most of my energy back.
It looks like the 5k will be a go. I'll have to start running again tomorrow afternoon. Hopefully the week of rest I've given my legs from running will do some good for my shin splints. Otherwise I may have to take an even longer break.
I've had a cough thing for the last couple of weeks, but now I'm probably sick for real. There's been something go through my family, two fo my siblings have had ear infections, one of my brothers had a temp over 100 degree, and my dad has pneumonia. I had a slight fever tonight, hopefully it's not worse in the morning because I really don't want to call in sick to work.
I also have a 5k I really want run Sunday night. If I'm still sick it won't happen though.
As much as an update to the signature guidelines was needed, I don't think this was the way to do it. 800x300 is way too much space. Most other forums don't allow sigs that big. We go from one of the most restrictive to one of the most relaxed.

I decided to google the phone number I got assigned by Net 10. It looks like there are at least two previous owners, same area code and everything. One of them was a Pit Bull Rescue center and the other is some girl who had it march of last year.

Well, it's almost over. Thursday was the Conference Championship meet. For the first time ever I got to run in it. I really wasn't fast enough, but I had to run because we were missing all of our seniors. I'm not sure what the event planners were thinking, but they scheduled the meet the same day as my school's graduation.

Sunday was the last regular troop meeting for my Jamboree troop. Everything is falling into place now.
It looks like I might have very limited access to a computer while the troop is touring Washington DC. I'm going after a spot in the Hometown News Correspondent program and the local news paper is working with me to make that happen. I'm going to have write one article while we're touring since the first publish date is the 26 of July, and then I'll be writing two article at the Jamboree.
I got a recently purchased a cell phone off of ebay. It's a Samsung T401G and it's pretty slick. It's got a slide out qwerty keyboard. It's a Net 10 branded phone, which is what I wanted. I wanted a prepaid phone and they had one of the best rates. 10 cents a minute and 5 cent (3 cent with my phone) text messages.

I should be running the 1600 Meters in today's track meet. My goal is to run faster then 6 minutes. I'm mostly healthy now. My shin splints are pretty much gone. I'm probably going to skip the spikes and save those for the last meet of the season next week.

Last two pieces of the grade puzzle fell into place today. I'm pretty confident that I got all A's for this semester. Both Trigonometry and my Intro to Engineering classes are A's.
My English Composition class was the one I was worried about. I would have been happy with a B but I did a lot better then I thought I would. I had to take a trek through the rain to get my graded research paper, which ended up being an A. My revised paper is still ungraded, but that should be an A. It was
School is officially finished for me today. Unofficially I have to go back on Friday if I want to get my graded research position paper from my English professor.
