The figure itself doesn't use any creative techniques or anything, I just wanted to share the shield design. Building this made me wish we got mask packs. I get why they're not a thing, but it sucks being forced to work gold into so many MOCs just so I can use different masks.
I've been busy as a Bohrok this year in my MOC building, so here's a little review of everything I made in 2015. Life is starting to speed up through January and February, so I don't know how active I can be in 2016, but I'll still be here on BZP. I know I couldn't live with myself if I faded away from the Bionicle reboot. Speaking of which, I'll be heading to the store soon, since the local Target supposedly has some 2016 Bionicle sets in stock. Time to spend that Christmas money.

I have to have blood drawn every month to get it tested, and I learned three months ago (the first time that I had it drawn) that I'm totally prone to passing out. Tomorrow I have to give blood for the third time, and I'm dreading it. I built Slicer's chain-grappler thing today to see how it works. This gif about sums it up. The only thing that's gonna grapple is his bony shins. It's a neat idea, but I think it'll be too frustrating to play with. It does look cool though, and it can hold Lewa's mask alright.

Long story short, I had to leave most of my possessions with my brother when I flew down to FL. So for the past ~6 months, I haven't even had my own computer!
