13th - Cars 2, 2011 iBrow Percentage: 68 Lightning McQueen takes part in a worldwide race across several countries, while Mater finds himself accidentally entangled within a web of super spies and super villains. I don't think this is going to come as a surprise to anyone, because to put it in simple words: Cars 2 lacks the magic touch. Every other Pixar film (yes, even the first Cars film) has a magical feeling the pervades throughout, a sense that the filmmakers truly cared about
9th - Cars, 2006 iBrow Percentage: 86 A rookie racecar by the name of Lightning McQueen place in the first ever three-way tie for the Piston Cup. After becoming lost on the way to the final race, he discovers the abandoned Route 66, and the forgotten cars that live there. Cars is... something else, compared to everything else from Pixar (barring Cars 2 of course). It's written off by many as Pixar's second-worst film, though to me I don't understand why. I feel that Cars does what i
5th - Brave, 2012 iBrow Percentage: 90 (Revised) Brave is a beauty, with its abundance of greens and blues and purples, and other soft or cool hues within the surroundings and the characters. This helps the main character, Merida, to stand out with her flaming orange hair. The film was one of my most anticipated this year, and I originally scored it with an 87% in a review. My reasons for upgrading it were because, during July (whilst preparing to do this list), I re-watched Brave, Toy S
7th - A Bug's Life, 1998 iBrow Percentage: 89 I told you all that I'd be explaining my motives behind ranking A Bug's Life as one of my favourite Pixar films visually. You see, A Bug's Life is stuck in the time between Toy Story, where Pixar was still sort of figuring things out, and Finding Nemo, where every Pixar film became a visual masterpiece. While this doesn't aid Toy Story 2 or Monsters, Inc. so much, I love A Bug's Life so much more because of it. The film has such a unique... e
EDIT: November 18, 2013 I have no idea if this entry is even still relevant in any way/shape/form, but you know what it's been a year so whatever. I'm going to repost it! Annually! And by annually I mean just this once, because seriously it's a total coincidence I was just going through my blog archive tonight. Spooky. It's almost like they wanted me to remember. o__o I was just searching through members going by post count, and something seemed very off - and then I realized that Hapori Dume
Allow me to direct you to the following image: You see that thing in the back? That is the Wii U. I own this. You see that thing in the front? That is the special Smash Edition Gamecube controller, released today alongside Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. You see that thing in the middle? That is the special adapter, required for using the above Gamecube controller. I do not have this. I walked into EB Games today, in my little ugly stupid town where everyone hates Nintendo, and purchased
First off, some of you may remember that back on July 18th, I posted this topic in Q&A, asking about a member map a staff member had added themselves to. Now, the only reason I noticed it was because it was the first notifcation I'd received since October, although I don't know why. If you know, please tell me. That said, the member map has struck again, for tonight I received my second notification since last October when the staff member changed their place on the map or whatever. Needl
1 Year = 52 Weeks + 52 Books I decided to attempt the challenge for myself, and am about a third of the way through Tolkien's The Two Towers as we speak. The following novels that I haven't read are on my to-read list this year: -Animal Farm -The Return of the King (obviously) -Ender's Game -The Great Gatsby [edit]-Les Miserables Which isn't that many, so I'm here to ask you all to throw the 1001 books that you all must combined know of that I can't remember at this specific moment in time
Ooh boy, I am very excited for this! I never had the opportunity to play it on the Gamecube, but the game looks rather spiffy in HD. I'll definitely give it a go. Here's hoping that with this remake they're also fixing all those issues people had way back when!
Thanks to Toa Zehvor MT for sharing his opinions. More game reviews will be coming, so leave any requests you might have in the comments! I will be posting a review I did on Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door in the next few days. Been a while since I did a BZP video game review, so I figured I'd start with a game that I recently played(well, perhaps recently isn't the right word, it was a few months ago). Skyward Sword is easily the Wii's best game of 2011, but with such a short list of AA
Well I wish that I could get a Skull Kid figure but nope no skull kid figure here because jerks are just buying thousands of collectable figures and selling them for outarkjaljbfnglkajbndfoghas;kjdbf;ahinrugaegoadofgvadf *deep breath* anyway i'm still getting the game probably, but i wish i could have bought the limited edition although my hands are kind of full with the amiibo figures anyway ooh maybe they'll release a Skull Kid amiibo figure- Anyway On that note, I'm searching
every little thing they show just increases my hype for this game then again, I was once hyped for Skyward Sword too, so let's just hope this is more of an A Link Between Worlds situation and I'll love it to bits
Juuuuust great. Now there's ANOTHER JRPG I'm looking forward to on the 3DS. It looks tons of fun, releases in Japan in January. I really hope that it's going to get localized for NA; seven playable protagonists and a non-linear story sounds very fun, and the art style is gorgeous. I love the pop-up environments. My list of must-have 3DS games is slowly expanding (I am interested in many titles that are released, but I usually let my brothers buy them instead). I have so far limited myself to t
Bionifight Ultimate has reached 98 pages - it is officially the largest game in the Games & Trivia forum, overtaking Bionifight 4: Hyper Fighting, which ended at 97 pages. It took Bionifight 4 about 4 months to get 97 pages. It has taken Bionifight Ultimate less than two. Just some interesting facts. If the latter game can continue to sustain such high activity... well, let's just say that I dare to dream.
