Last month, when we got a preview for the Winter Toy Shop set, this image of what appears to be a guy holding a Juggle's head mounted to a staff was on the frontpage: This month, when the Luke Skywalker contraction set was reviewed, this creepy image of Luke Skywalker staring into your consciousness was on the frontpage: And both of these were posted before Halloween. It makes me wonder what we will see on the frontpage when October get here.
If you could take any Gen 1 or Gen 2 Bionicle character and give them a nickname that would be considered canon for them in their official stories, what character would you choose and what nickname would you give them?
*Thirty years ago yesterday, video game players were introduced to a lone bounty hunter by the name of Samus Aran, who began her journey to rid the universe of Space Pirates and Metroids in the 1986 game titled 'Metroid.' Since then, there have been several titles that have been added to this growing series. Metroid 2: Return of Samus. Super Metroid. Metroid Fusion. Metroid Prime. Metroid: Zero Mission. Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. Metroid Prime Hunters. Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. Metroid: Other
At least, I think they were dolphins. Someone told me that they were NOT dolphins but creatures that looked like dolphins whose name started with 'M'. (If anyone knows the name of these dolphin-like creatures, like me know. But until told otherwise, I'm calling them dolphins!) Anyway, I was working in my booth near the water where I sell tickets for a boat ride when two or three dolphins just appeared out of nowhere. Until today, I've never seen them there before. I was actually really bored
Two hundred entries. It feels like only yesterday when I first had access to my blog during one of BZP's anniversary weeks. I thought it was so cool to have it back then. I still think its cool even though I'm a Premier Member now. I've really enjoyed having a place to post my thoughts on movies, thoughts on video game and movie trailers, random questions, and post about some crazy things I've either seen myself or read online. Here's to another two hundred hopefully interesting entries!
I'm now one year less than a quarter of a century years old! To clarify, today is my birthday, which I have turned 24 years old. I FEEL SO OLD! Though I know I'm not that old. Yet. I have today and tomorrow off from work too, so that is an extra bonus for me. As for gifts, my family gave me exactly what I wanted: cold, hard cash. This gives me the funds to go get some items I've been wanting to get. (I'm coming for you, General Grievous contraction set!) I also plan to get the rest of th
It has been busy these last few days regarding new trailers being released for upcoming movies. The Legend of Tarzan, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Out of the Shadows, X-Men: Apocalypse, Independence Day: Resurgence, and Star Trek Beyond all released their first trailers in the last week. Every time I thought I'd post something on one, another showed up! So I'm just going to summarize my thoughts on each of them. I won't spoil anything specific about them in case anyone doesn't want to know an
It seems like a new week trailer comes out every week for these two games. It's almost comical. Anyways, here's what the trailer shows us: 1. Alright, let's start off with the biggest reveal: The first evolution forms of the starters. Out of these three, Torracat is my favorite. It's color scheme looks really cool IMO. Dartrix looks cool too, especially with the way it uses its wings. I've also read things from people saying that he looks like Edgeworth from the Ace Attorney series, and I t
Me: 'I've saw Kong, Beauty and the Beast, and Power Rangers a couple weeks ago. I really would like to post something about at least one of them today...' Marvel Studios: Here's a teaser for Thor: Ragnarok! Me: Those movies can wait.
As for what I think of the trailer, it looks great IMO. They picked a great song to go with it. Plus, it has a Guardians of the Galaxy feel going for it, which makes it even better. November can't get here soon enough.
It was six years ago today that I joined BZP under the username 'The Smoke Monster.' I can't believe that I've been here for so long. Not that I'm complaining, because I've loved my time as a member of BZP. Here's hoping that the next six years and beyond are just as good as the first six.
I don't know that much about the Angry Birds Franchise. I've never played one of their games, as I've never had a device that had the ability to play those games. But from what I understand, one launches an Angry Bird into obstacles for points, and pigs have something to do with it. (I know I could easily look up more about it, but honestly I just don't feel like it. ) It sounds like a simple, harmless game that one could play to pass the time. Even though it exploded into a huge brand with toys
...And hello iPhone 6 S, which I just got yesterday. With it, I can now say that I've joined the modern age, cell phone wise! Even though I still need to learn how to use it to its fullest extent.
Well, Star Wars: The Force Awakens has finally been released in theaters. I, however, won't be able to see it until sometime on Christmas weekend. (Hopefully.) The reason I'm not seeing it this weekend is because my Dad wants to see it with me, and vice versa, and he really doesn't want to have to wait in a long line at the theater to see the movie. He wants to go and enjoy seeing the film, while not having to worry about finding seats for getting to the theater hours ahead of time and other stu
If you were to write a song, would you want it to be loved by the majority of people, become a classic as time went on, but not make any money off it at all, or would you want it to be hated by the majority of people, forgotten as time went on, but make millions of dollars off of it?
