Um, Pixar... are you sure about this teaser? I get that everyone thought Cars 2 was too dumb and childish, and that you want to prove it can be serious. But are you sure the best way to do that is to disturb and potentially traumatize the kids who liked it? For the record, I do like the first Cars and I think Cars 2 was okay. I'm sure the movie itself will be lighter, and the teaser doesn't really have bearings on if Cars 3 will be good, but this is a surprisingly dark trailer for a film serie

Since you guys seem to like debating the new Ghostbusters movie and the neccesity of reboots, I guess I'll throw in my two cents. Nickelodeon just announced that they're bringing back the classic game show Legends of the Hidden Temple... ...as a TV movie. Huh. On one hand, this is a weird idea and is probably just using the name to cash in on nostalgia, and doing an adventure movie on a TV budget might not be the best idea. In honor of the impending release of Captain America: Civil War, whose side are you on: Captain America (the Avengers should have the freedom to do what needs to be done) or Iron Man (the Avengers should have accountability for their actions and answer to a governing body)?
So if you don't know, Disney is making an animated TV series based on Tangled, set between the original movie and the short Tangled Ever After. It's got a good voice cast (both Mandy Moore and Zachery Levi are back), and the art style looks really nice. But if you've seen the movie, you might notice something... off about this picture. The show could still be good, but that is a big problem they have to get around first. Also I care way too much about children's media.

I saw Batman v Superman today. I've always liked DC, but their movies haven't really wowed me like Marvel's have. It was pretty good, but not great. I get where the criticism is coming from, but a 30% on Rotten Tomatoes is way too harsh. I'd give it a 7, maybe 7.5 out of 10. The cast was good, so I still have hope for Wonder Woman and Justice League to turn it around and give Marvel a run for their money. Speaking of Wonder Woman, I'm just gonna put her theme here because it's pretty awesome.
