How on earth am I going to get this done I don't even know. I've had a lot of bad homework nights but the sheer slowness of understanding and summarizing history makes tonight take the cake. AP/IB testing season is rough. We're taking the AP tests at my church, though, so I think that entails some sort of home team advantage?

So it actually snowed last night, so we get a second day of postponement of exams. Instead of extra studying I decided to try out this Metroid thing everyone's talking about. And... It's really good. The controls aren't as satisfying platforming-wise as they could be, but otherwise it's a really fun game. I haven't made much progress, and I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be accomplishing, but who needs goals? I just got some Super Missiles and that's enough for me.

This is probably a dangerous thing to ask for, but here goes. Summer break is coming, which bodes well for by gaming career. I'm trying to keep track of games I'm playing or want to play so as to better allocate time and funds. I've added a nifty content block to the right to keep tabs on these things. Obviously it's a little Nintendo-centric, and even within Nintendo there are a few franchises which I've never tried. I need suggestions as to what games would best introduce me to franchis
I told myself I wouldn't buy any Amiibos. But I bought Link. Just for when I got Hyrule Warriors, you know? And Zelda, because he looks lonely. And I'll have to get Toon Link, Sheik and Ganondorf, just to complete the Zelda collection. But that's it. No more. Although PAC-Man is my main. And there's not a lot of affordable Earthbound things on the market. And... NO. NINTENDO WHAT HAVE YOU DONE.
Recommend me some. Anything--modern, 'classic,' ancient, whatever genre. I tend gravitate towards fantasy/sci-fi, but I'm eager to expand that as well. but I've added a threadbare books sidebar that mostly just reflects my plans to reread some of my favorite fantasy/sci-fi series this summer, but I also want some new things. Stab wound. It's by no means the most dangerous. It's not the most OP. But even if other cards completely destroy you, turning that one creature you got out into a time bomb with no way of getting rid of it is probably as infuriating as it gets. You can't even voluntarily sacrifice the creature or anything, you just hope you opponents takes out the creature it's on.

I just traded my only shiny- a Geodude that I randomly received in a trade- for a Terakion. Is this a good or bad trade? I'm really not up to snuff on my Pokemon values.
I'm going to buy one, the question is, when? I don't feel any urgency at all. The big driving reason to get one would be Zelda U, and that's presumably significantly in the future. I have other really great games to play in the meanwhile- I still have to finish Super Metroid, I want to play Super Mario World, I want to get Ocarina of Time 3D at some point (I don't care if that's before or after Wii U).
