I've self-appraised my coin collection today. Took me around 6 hours to get through the more important pieces of the collection, and now my back hurts. But the worth stands somewhere between $80,000 and $100,000.
Gather 'round ladies and gents, because it has come to my attention that nobody has been giving you poor chaps regular safety briefings. That, that is a crime. Here's a simple one for you to start off with: When you are about to head out to volunteer to run a parking lot for 500+ cars for a classic car show, do not grab the bottle of expired sunblock to use. Grab the bottle of new stuff, even if it says it only lasts for 3 hours, versus the 6 for the expired one. Because it won't matter
Second Interview went amazing, the guy told me that I was one of the best people he's ever interviewed, and they would let me know Monday. They called Tuesday, and told me that THEY WEREN'T INTERESTED IN EMPLOYING ME. They said I was overqualified for the position, and they had no management positions open. I was applying for a starter-position.
Couple days late, but whatever. Picked up some DLC for Europa Universalis IV(some unit packs, and the Art of War expansion). And a war hammer. Legitimate, 100% steel and hickory war hammer from Cold Steel. Yeah. It was a good day. Plus, I had the day off!
It has consumed me. I will see you all another time. Apologies to those that were waiting on me, whether for something I promised or just for the heck of it.
Early December. Know what that means, right? That means the selection of 24 participants is going to be announced soon for a Civic Leadership school in Washington D.C. Gone. Ripped out Monday in less than five hours. Went home, and turned out I'm allergic to the anesthesia, so I was puking sick the rest of the day. Didn't sleep hardly at all last night, and now I'm hooked up on pain killers and can't feel anything. I guess I could say I'm in a better mood now than I was over the weekend.
Over the course of the next few weeks, I will be making BZPRPG characters based exactly on Marvel/DC Characters. These types of characters are affectionately(actually, not at all. They are hated pretty much everywhere except on a certain RP site I cannot mention.) known as "Carbons," as in "carbon copy." My starting character is most likely going to be Daredevil. So, I decided, "Hey! I really don't know much about this Bionicle business at all, and dragging myself through a wiki is no fun, so let's go read discussion topics on BZPower! Might be worth it!" RPG: Turns out describing locations without going, "It's a square. There's some tables. You eat food here. Move along" just doesn't cut it. I hate describing things without life in it. So read the storyline for Bionicle, 2001-2004(?)....this is what I got from it. Makuta is jealous of Mata Nui and slips him some sleeping pills, and the island of Mata Nui is supposedly made cold and crops don't grow(wheat? Corn? They don't say.).
